The celebration of the Soledad Grand Ball continues.
There is classical ballroom music playing while the other guests dance with their partners.
The Soledads, Arpias and Elijah are just watching the guests enjoying themselves.
Suddenly a woman invites Elijah to dance.
"Hey, do you wanna dance?"
Elijah looks at Patrick.
"Bro, I think I need to take this."
"Yeah bro, sure! Enjoy!"
Elijah accompanies the woman to the dance.
On the other hand, Patrick and Valerie's parents can see that their children are not dancing together.
"How about the two of you?" Melanie asks them both.
Valerie and Patrick just stare at each other.
"What about us mom?" Valerie asks her mother.
"You two are getting married aren't you? So go and dance! Go! Go!" Melanie forces the two of them.
"Yes sweetie! Go. Dance with Patrick." Benjamin says as he supports his wife in forcing their children to dance.
Patrick looks at his parents.
"We'll be watching from here." said Esther.
Patrick and Valerie go to the dance floor together.
"This is gonna be interesting." said Erwin.
Patrick and Valerie proceed to the middle of the dance floor.
Erwin calls the maestro.
"Maestro! Please play my favorite song. Thank you!"
Erwin looks at the people, noticing that they all stopped dancing.
"Everyone, keep dancing!"
The maestro then proceeded to play Michael Bublé's version of "Sway".
While dancing, Valerie and Patrick begin talking to each other.
"Hey, Patrick. I've been wanting to talk to you."
"About what?"
Valerie was reluctant to talk about what she was thinking to Patrick.
"Well it's... I mean I know we're doing this ... All of this for our parents."
Patrick agrees with what she said.
"Well yeah. They've done so much for us."
"Yeah I know. And we should honor them for what they've done in order to get where they are. However-"
"Yes?"
"I don't know, I've been having thoughts about all of this. But I just want to know if we're on the same page."
"What do you mean?"
The people keep dancing and music continues playing.
"Have you ever thought that maybe, there's something that can be done about this situation? About our situation? Something that has potential that is beyond our wildest dreams?"
Patrick is confused with what Valerie is saying.
"Okay, a little bit metaphorical. But can we talk later after the song?"
"Alright."
The two will continue dancing.
