It's 11 AM.
Many people are organizing and cleaning the Soledads' mansion.
Patrick is still asleep.
His bedroom is such a mess.
His best friend Elijah enters his room.
He startled his sleeping friend.
"Wakey wakey sleeping beauty! Time to wake up bro, we still have a long day ahead of us."
Patrick wakes up, and slowly gets up as well.
"Ughhh can I have like, 18 more minutes? I'm still sleepy ..."
Elijah tickles him.
"Hey Eli!"
"Bro, I'm serious. You have to wake up. Your mom's asking me to call you. I think you should move before she gets angry."
Patrick was irritated.
"Ughhh ... fine. Give me 2 minutes to prepare."
Patrick smells himself.
Elijah makes a strange face.
"Make that 10."
Patrick turns off the alarm of his clock.
Patrick puts on his jacket as he goes down the staircase.
Elijah is following him from behind.
As they both arrive the ground floor, Patrick sees his mother, Esther, talking to a maid.
She suddenly notices his son and his best friend standing next to her.
"Oh son! You're awake. It's good that Elijah is here to wake you up because I need to ask the both of you to do something for me and your father."
Patrick wonders what his mother will say.
"What's that, ma?"
"Well, as far as you know"
She holds Patrick by his shoulders.
"Your godmother Melanie and godfather Benjamin will be coming tomorrow with Valerie to consult about the preparations regarding the wedding."
Patrick and Elijah look at each other.
Patrick then looks back at Esther.
"Oh ... right."
"Also, you're also aware that my wedding anniversary with your dad is near. But we still haven't found a good venue to hold a party."
Esther points to the whole room.
"You know, I don't want the house being redecorated, and all of the Soledad Elegante branches are too small to accommodate more than 200 people!"
"So what do you want us to do?" Patrick asked.
"I was planning to hold a grand ball, in celebration of both our wedding anniversary and your engagement with Valerie. And me and your dad are already busy and booked with a lot of things this week. So ..."
Esther then gives Patrick the keys to his car.
"I need you and Elijah here to find a good venue this afternoon okay? I'm also assigning you with the preparations for the event."
Elijah and Patrick look at each other again.
"Wait, ma are you serious?"
Asks Patrick.
"Of course! But at the same time, I'll be giving a certain budget for that. I can also ask our other helpers to assist you if you guys need it."
"Welp, we don't have much to do this week, right Eli?"
"I'm literally just here for you when you need me."
"All right, mom. For you and dad."
Esther smiles.
Esther rubs Patrick's chin.
"And for Valerie too you know!"
Patrick suddenly felt awkward.
Esther holds Patrick by the shoulders again.
She looked at her son carefully.
"I am counting on you Patrick okay? You've been a very good son."
Esther hugs him.
"All right. Eli and I will look for a good venue."
Esther smiles at Patrick's answer.
