Cyril returned to his subdivision.

Topaz suddenly sees him.

"Cyril! What happened to you?"

"I... I-"

He could not speak properly because he was shocked by the incident.

"Come on, take a bath first, you need to change!"

She lets him inside her store.

"You can take a bath and change in my restroom."

After an hour, Cyril comes out, dressed and drying his hair with a towel.

Topaz was glad to see him clean again.

"There, at least you'll smell good again."

Cyril sits down. 

His eyes began to shed some tears.

Topaz then noticed that his eyes were already watering.

"Hey, are you going to cry?"

"Can't you see Topaz? that was my only. I can't take anymore money from my savings to buy another one."

Cyril wiped his eyes.

"You know what? I'm not going anymore."

Topaz was stunned by what she heard.

"Hey, don't say that! Patrick is most likely waiting for you there at the party. No, I will not let you just tell me that you're not going. Come, follow me."

Cyril wonders what Topaz was talking about.

"Huh? Where are we going?"

"Just come, stand up."

Topaz dragged Cyril into the storage room of her store.

She shows him an outfit that is displayed in the middle of the storage room.

It is made of holographic fabric, and glows under bright light.

Cyril was surprised by what he saw.

"Wow! That's so beautiful!"

"Actually, I have a customer in Japan who ordered that. I was supposed to ship it now, however I thought about you."

Cyril was suddenly embarrassed.

"Hey, you should've delivered it already! You didn't need to bother thinking about me!"

"That person is just a customer. You're my best friend. Of course I'll choose you first."

"But-"

"Ugh... Okay, how about this?"

Topaz tries to devise a plan.

"So you won't feel guilty, how about I just lend it to you? Just make sure to return it to me later. So that I can deliver it to Japan after."

"Are you sure about that? Maybe I can borrow another outfit?"

"No! You're wearing this. Remember Cyril, that's the son of the Soledads. You have to look good in their eyes. This is what you should wear."

Cyril was surprised by Topaz's revelation.

"But what if I break it? Or it gets dirty?"

"Break? We have sewing machines here. Dirty? We have dry cleaning here. Just don't lose it."

"But... Topaz-"

"No more buts! Look, we're running out of time."

Topaz then grabs a shoe box to Cyril and hands it to him.

"These are shoes, you can pair it with the outfit. Now go get dressed! I'll tell Mario to take you there! You stay right here until you have worn everything."

Topaz goes out of the room, leaving Cyril to dress up.
