A Not So Hot Girl Summer- Jeremiah Fisher

Steven didn't know why he volunteered to go check on Katie. well, he did it to get out of the awkward dinner with Cameron kissing his sister, but him and Katie weren't exactly close when it came to emotional talks. they were both each others comedic relief.

"Katie?" Steven asked as he walked into her room.

 she was standing in front of he large mirror wearing the outfit she was planning to wear for the party. it was something she had been dying to try out since she laid eyes on the jeans. she was wearing a black skin-tight crop top and white loosely fitted jeans that had cow print on them.

she spotted Steven out of the corner of the mirror, a small smile forming on her face. "your the one they sent? I though for sure it'd be jere.." she laughed.

Steven laughed too, sitting on her bed. "trust me, I wouldn't have volunteered if Cameron wasn't practically making out with my sister while I was eating." he said, making a gagging noise. "I thought my food was going to come back up and onto my plate."

Katie laughed and look out her straightening iron, plugging it in and letting it heat up. "oh I hear you, Jeres probably got bruises on his leg from me kicking him so he'd stop." she said as she sectioned her hair so it would be easier to straighten. "-and connie, oh my gosh did you see his face?"

"he looked like he wanted to rip the kids head off." Steven laughed.

the two bursted out laughing. it wasn't every day you're trying to eat dinner and get stuck watching someone kiss at the same time. especially If that someone was belly.

"I thought you didn't like Nicole, how come your going to her party?" Steven asked, watching Katie as she practically fried her hair. 

"how do you know I don't like her?"

Steven shrugged. "because im not a big fan of hers either. plus I was a waiter at the deb tea and you looked very annoyed with her."

Katie furrowed her eyebrows. "you were? I didn't even see you there." she said. "and a funny looking guy like you is hard to miss."

Steven groaned and threw a pillow at Katies legs, then went back to scrolling through his phone. "your a jerk." he laughed.

the girl smirked, ignoring him as she continued doing her hair. since it was so thick and curly, it took her forever to get done. so long that Jeremiah was laying next to Steven in her bed ready to go by the time she was done.

"I didn't know your hair was that long." Jeremiah laughed, seeing katies hair was reaching just above her butt. "I also didn't know you kept a stash of m&ms in here."

Katie looked at him shocked, seeing him and Steven were sharing the last of her stash. "you two suck." she pouted, snatching the empty bag from them. "you owe me a fresh bag."

the two laughed and stood up from her bed, going to the door. "c'mon we are going to be late." Jeremiah said, "and I am not getting stuck in a car with Taylor so lets get a head start." he spoke quietly that time.

Katie gladly accepted, following Jeremiah and Steven out of her room and straight to the front door. "wait." she whispered to them, "they're probably taking cam Camerons car and I know for sure Conrads not going to want to drive with them.."

"shit your right." Steven sighed. "Conrad lets go!" he shouted, then made a run for the car.

Conrad wasn't even far behind. in fact, he was just down the hall when Steven yelled.

there were a lot more people at the party than Katie thought there would be. the main room of the massive house was full of people and wrecked of alcohol and weed. the smell didn't bother Katie as she walked around the house looking for the drinks.
