AVA POV

"Don't worry dear he should be up in a few. Meanwhile your Dad and I have something to talk about so try and meet the others." Karen said to me referring to Nathan that's on the bed.

"Yeah. Thank you Mrs. Anderson for taking me in." I said really grateful.

"No need to be so formal with me hon and as for the house. It's big enough to contain ten people. It does have up to eleven bedrooms after all so there's still space for more." She wasn't lying I got my own room so did Cass and Nathan. There was even an underground lab and a secret cell in the house. That's how big the house is.

It's been two weeks. A crazy two weeks especially what happened that night.

Flashback

The two dude took me round to the other exit of the warehouse. I was really waiting for them to kill me because honestly I'm tired. I don't know what that guy did to me but anytime he comes around me my head gets a really crazy migraine and everything becomes blurry that I can't even see he him but the exact moment he leaves it's all gone but my body always feels weak like hell. I'm always tied to chains on my hands which is surely bruised by now. Some of his boys even tried to fuck me while I was in chains but each time he either stopped them or killed them apparently they aren't meant to waste their time on shit like me and if they do it then they are waste to according to The Psycho and I'm not gonna lie that hurt my feelings a bit. When we got round to the back. One of the guys carrying me by my arm fell as a result something heavy and thick hitting his head. The other guy gets his gun after shoving me to the ground. That left a mark by the way and he brought a gun. When I saw the gun I was freaking out and I saw him pointing it towards a girl who I came to know as Cassandra. I heard the gun shoot when I close my eyes. It's silent for a couple seconds. Then I open my eyes after hearing a loud thud on the floor. I see the dude's dead body on the ground. When I look to the side to see who did it I'm left speechless.

"Get away from my sister you son of a bitch." He said with tears now in his eyes. Did he just kill a person because of me?

"Cole!" I said with tears of joy flowing down my eyes. While he broke down in tears. When I reached him I go down to his height just so I could see him but he instantly hugged me the moment I came down.

"Ava. . . Did I. . . Is he dead? Did I get him?" He said.

"Yeah. Yeah, yeah you got him you got him." My mouth becoming dry.

"Oh." Now he sounded dejected.

"It's alright we are gonna be okay."

"Am I a bad person Ava?" I don't think he's okay with the fact he killed a human. The fact he's still a child and he had to be exposed to this is really sad and I feel really guilty for it. If he hadn't tried to save me he won't feel this.

"Your not a bad kid Cole. Your the best brother in the world that saved his sister okay. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise okay."

"Yeah."

"Your sister is right. Thanks for the save little man." Cassandra said

"Who are you?" I asked not knowing who she was at that time.

"I am Cassandra a friend of Sandra and Nathan."

"Ava."

"I know who you are."

"Okay then. Cole how did you get out?" I asked now drying the tears in our faces.

"Sandra let me out."

"Wait, Sandra's here."

"It's a good thing she is. She let us all out." At the sound of that voice I immediately detached myself from Cole and into his arms.
