the day before, colby had left in a hurry after realizing the feelings he had for cherry.

because he didn't know what to do with them.
sure, he knew that cherry was cool.
she was funny, and she was pretty.
and he liked the way she put pins on her backpack.
he liked that all of their makeup had some sort of flower involved, on the packaging, or in the product.
he liked that she had a shopping habit, and always left him small gifts.
he liked that they knew him so well, they'd always come back with something he actually liked.
like his favorite drink or pastry. she'd go out of her way to buy it for him and give it to him.
