"i still can't believe dad was a superhero." colby pulled the refrigerator open.
"why? 'cause i'm such an uber-cool, rebellious villain?" vic questioned, holding his plate of fruit.
"no, because you have, like, no muscle tone."
"did you ever think that maybe the superheroes took that away along with my power?"
"well, did they?"

colby set down a tray of butter, going to wash his hands in the sink.
he greeted cherry with a smile, and she offered him a piece of his waffle.
amy gagged at their sweetness.
hartley and aria eyed the pair.
