one specific plushie was beneath her arm.
cherry was sitting in front of the vanity, finishing off her makeup with a sticky coat of red glittery lipgloss that colby had gifted her months ago.
"what's wrong?" cherry questioned, setting the lipgloss down in its precise location beside her perfume.
"i don't know what to do!" aria huffed, rolling over to make eye contact with her friend.
"about?"
"jake. i feel like- like, i miss him, you know? but i have more respect for myself than that, i'm not just gonna back to him after he ghosted me."
"yeah, i get it. you feel the way you feel, you know? there's no explanation for that. that's not gonna go away, even if you don't like him."
"how do you do it?"
"do what?"
