"Children, upstairs, lock the door." Miss Aulich ordered before a hole burst straight through the door grabbing her and taking her life.
The children screamed and began to run upstairs.

"Missy!" Harper pulled the 9 year old, who was frozen in place.
"Harper, I'm scared." The girl sobbed.
"I know, but we need to go upstairs to be safe." She attempted to pull her again.

"Harper- I -" Missy screamed as an invisible force pulled her off of her feet.
"Shit!" Harper turned to look for a weapon.

She looked up at the wall to see the sword decoration that hung.

God, this better be a real sword.

"Missy, hang on!" She yelled, grabbing the sword from the wall.

"If I murder this child, I swear to God." Harper muttered to herself.

Missy was still screaming.
Harper attempted to go low and hurt the Hollow's legs, but there was nothing there.
"Shit!" She attempted again but missed.
"Harper! Please!"

"I'm trying!" Finally, she wounded the Hollow.
It wasn't enough.
There was one last thing before Missy fell to the floor.

"Missy! Missy, are you alright?" She shook the girl.
Harper never received an answer.
She gasped as she turned the girl's body to face her.
She had no eyes.

"Harper, come on!" A voice from the top of the stairs shouted down
Harper clenched the sword and ran up the stairs to the others.

"She's dead! Missy's dead!" She placed her hand over her mouth to hold back her sobs.
"What?" Missy's sister took a step back.

"It took her eyes. We're dead! We're all gonna die." She attempted to open up the only window in the room, but it was stuck.

"I'm getting out of here!" Arlene unlocked the door and ran out.
"Arlene, no!" Her boyfriend Darren followed after her.
"Is everyone in this house stupid?" Harper yelled.

One by one they all ran out after the people they loved. It was a repeating cycle.
"I don't want to die!" Her younger sister sobbed.

Harper knew they were gonna die.
The screams of her friends, who she'd known for almost all of her life.

It was 1971.
It has been 1971 for around 43 years.

For those 43 years, everything was going perfectly, so the Hollow's raiding the loop now was a shock.

She knew she had to reassure her younger sister.
"We're not gonna die-" She was cut off by a boy screaming from out of the room.

"I don't believe you!" She sobbed.
"You believed me when I said Santa was real; you believed me when I said that pricking your finger on a spin wheel will put you to sleep, so why won't you believe me now?" Harper's voice raised.

"Stop yelling at me!"

"Everyone is yelling, Anna." The screams were quite hard to block out.
"I don't wanna die." Anna repeated, wiping the tears from her own eyes.

"I won't let you die." Harper picked up the telephone, but the line was dead.
"Shit!" She slammed it down back into place.

"You promise-" Anna was cut off, by the door bursting open and herself being pulled up into the air.
"Harper!" She screamed.

"Shit! Where is the sword?" She yelled to herself.
Then it hit her. No, it literally hit her.
"Jj! What the hell?" She yelled as her friend stood in the doorway.

"Just help your sister!" He yelled.
Harper picked up the sword and attempted to wound the Hollow, but she continued to miss the invisible creature.

"You've got shit aim!" Jj shouted.
"I'm trying!" Her voice broke as she repeatedly missed.
"Use your peculiarity!" The boy yelled.

"I'm not strong enough!" Finally, she wounded the Hollow in the stomach.
One last scream was heard from Anna before there wasn't anything.

Nothing.

Her body dropped.

"Anna!" Her voice broke as she ran to her sister.
Jj ran behind her and grabbed the sword that she had dropped only seconds before.

"She isn't breathing!" Harper sobbed.
"Just give me a second!"

She sort of zoned it.
There was this ringing in her ear that held power over all of her other thoughts and everything.
Harper knew what was happening though.

"Harper it's dead." Jj slides down beside her.
"We're all dead. The loop will close soon..." She clutched Anna.

"We could call Miss-"
"The lines dead."
Just like them.

"Someone will help."

"The dream was terrifying, Horace!" Hugh gasped as the projector cut out.
"I don't think it was just a dream..." Horace looked over at Miss Peregrine.

For the first time, Miss Peregrine looked like she was really thinking about things.

"We've got to help!" Claire yelled worriedly.
"I don't think that's a very good idea. There could be more of the Hollows." Emma seemed scared.

"Miss Peregrine?"
Everyone turned to look at the lady.
"I suppose I could find out some information and possibly see what was going on." She remained calm.

"But it'll be dangerous!" Fiona shouted.
"Don't forget stupid." Enoch sunk into the couch.
"It's better than leaving them for dead." Rory hits Enoch over the head with a rolled up newspaper.

He hissed in pain.

"Rory is right. An Ymbryne must protect children." And with that, she left the bedroom to find information about the loop's whereabouts.
