A couple of months have passed and I'm still in New York. I guess my mom is right this time. I gotta be here until I graduate. I've been getting closer with Gwen and I will be dreading the time when I have to leave her.

Do I consider Gwen to be my friend? Yes. Do I tell her though? No. Does she know that I consider her as my friend? Yes, absolutely. But she pretends that I don't.

For Peter, I talk to him when we're in class or when we get books from our locker at the same time. Or if we get assignments for partners. I go to his house whenever we do assignments.

Sometimes he goes to my house but we prefer to go to his. I grew closer to Peter's aunt and uncle. I still call Peter with his last name. I call him Peter when I'm angry or annoyed and boy does he love annoying me.

Now I'm at schooland I see Flash throw a basketball at Peter. Really Flash? Real mature. I just ignore it and walk to Peter. Flash saw me and walk to me.

"Hey, Dabria I was thinking maybe we could-," he was about to ask me out but I cut him off. "No. And don't think Flash you'll hurt your brain," I said to him as I smile at him and walk away from him.

I walk to Peter. "Hey, Parker," I greet him. "Kara," he greets back and we walk to our locker. But a girl approach Peter. This girl is hot and with that tank top? Yes, Queen.

"Hey, it's, uh. . . It's Peter right?" she asks and Peter was bewildered by this girl. I had to nudge him and he just hummed at her. "I really like your photos," she tells him. "Oh, thanks. Thanks,"

"Uh, listen. Are- are you busy Friday night?" she asks. Wait, isn't she already had a boyfriend? You know what? I can't keep up with the gossip its just too much.

Peter quickly turns to me. What the hell? "Why are you looking at me?" I ask him and he shook his head as he looks back at the girl. "Heh-heh. Cool. Uh, can you take pictures of my boyfriend's car?"

I knew she has a boyfriend. I quickly snort but I hide it with a cough. "I just- you know, I want to frame a good one for his birthday," she said and Peter laughs awkwardly.

"That's really nice of you. Wow, that's such a nice thought," Peter replied awkwardly. "I'm, yeah, I'll have a look at the old, uh. . . the old schedule,"

I laugh a little when we walk away form the girl. "Shut up," Peter said. Then he rides his skateboard. We saw a teacher approaching us. "Parker," the teacher said. "Yes, sir?" Peter answered as he stop skating and hold his skateboard. "Want to keep that skateboard?"

"Yeah," Peter answered again. "Keep it off the ground," the teacher tells him. "Sure, yeah," Peter replied as he held his skateboard high above his head. "Wheels up," the teacher adds.

Then when the teacher couldn't see Peter again he put his skateboard to the ground. "You can't skate in here Parker," I say to him. "Yeah, watch me?" he said to me and he keeps riding his skateboard. I rolled my eyes and walk alongside him.

We got to our locker and there's a couple making out on our locker. "Well, good thing I have some spear notebook in my bag. I'm out," I say as I walk away. "What? Kara. Let me borrow your notebook,"

"Nope, not gonna happen Parker. Enjoy the suffering," I said to him as I walk away. I got out of the school and I saw Gwen sitting in one of the table there. "Hey, girl," I greet her and she closed her book.

"Hey," she greets back. I sit next to her but on the left so she can block the sun for me. "Hey, about that internship," I said to her and she instantly looked at me. "Yes, your name is already on the list,"
