I'm currently resting my eyes while laying in Gwen's couch in her room. "Why did you invite Peter?" she asks me. "Because you two should date," I tell her not opening my eyes.

"What? What are you talking about?" she asks me again and I sigh as I look at her. "Gwen, my sunshine, my cloud on a hot and sunny day, Peter has a crush on you since forever. And I also noticed that you steal glances at him in class. And you guys won't ask each other out even though you had the chance. So, I guess I just have to do it myself,"

"You are so blind," Gwen said to me as she laughs and went back to whatever it is she was doing. I rest my eyes again. Then I hear a knock on the window. "You open it, because I won't," I say to Gwen. "Lazy ass," she replied. "You love this ass,"

"Hi," Gwen greets whoever it is at the window. "How did you get out there?" she asks again. "Uh, fire escape. Your doorman's intimidating," okay, that is Peter's voice. Peter's here. "It's 20 stories," Gwen said to Peter. "Yeah, it's all right,"

"This is your room," Peter said. "Yes, this is my room," Gwen replied. "Books, shoes, and Kara sleeping on the couch," Peter said and Gwen laughs. "Yeah, she always does that. She said it's the best thing in my room,"

It's true and I stand by it. This couch is amazing. "Oh, really?" Peter asks Gwen. "Yeah," Gwen answers. Oh my God, they are awkward together. This is perfect. Yes. I should be a matchmaker. I could be like Emma from Jane Austen.

"Oh, hey uh. . . I got your mom uh. . . these," he said but I don't know what he's talking about. "Oh, love— lovely," Gwen reacted to whatever it is. "Beautiful right?" Peter said. "They're beautiful,"

"They were. . . they were nice," Peter said awkwardly. "No, they're beautiful," Gwen said to Peter again. "I'm sorry," Peter apologize. What is he brought though?

"No, it's impressive. They held together very well," Gwen added. "I'm gonna keep this," Petr said. Okay, I'm ending this. This is just too awkward for me.

"Guys, next time you want to flirt, do it when I'm not here. Seriously, I think I need to go to an ear doctor hearing you two conversing," I say to the both of them. "I thought you were asleep," Peter asks me. "Just resting my eyes. You should try it sometimes. Might reduce your panda eyes,"

"Hey, you got your suit in there?" Gwen asks Peter and I instantly open my eyes in shock. "My suit?" Peter asks as he looks at me and Gwen. I shook my head as if telling him, no I didn't tell anyone about your nightly routine.

"It's for dinner. Are you gonna, are you gonna wear that?" Gwen asks Peter and I just sigh in relief as I lay on the couch again. Then the door opens and it's Gwen's father. Oh, Peter is in big trouble.

"Hey, hon," George said and I try to hide my smile. "You must be Peter," he said as he looks at Peter. "Dad, this is Peter," Gwen introduces them. "Hey, nice to meet you, sir," Peter said and I hear he was walking to the door. Oh, they shake hands. "Nice to meet you,"

I can feel the awkwardness filling the room. Man, I gotta get out. "Dinner's ready. Hope you like branzino," George said to Peter I presume. "Who doesn't?" Peter replied.

"You too, Kara," George said and I hear his voice getting smaller and smaller. "On it Georgie," I replied as I laugh loudly. "Oh my God, that is the most awkward situation I have ever been in. Definitely a highlight of my day," I say to the both of them

The dinner starts and Peter is having trouble eating the branzino. I have to hold my laugh looking at Peter struggling. Then Simon helps Peter cut the branzino. I sit between Gwen and Philip with Simon in front of me.
