And you feel like
City life, apple pie
baked just right
Home is wherever
you are tonight

I wake up curled up to Peter. I look at his face and man, is it a sight to see. I trace my fingers along his forehead down to his cheek and to his jaw.

"Good morning," Peter said to me, making me quite shocked by it. "You already woke up?" I ask him and he nodded. "Yeah, I like watching you sleep," he tells me. "That didn't sound like a creeper at all,"

"Well, I'm not because I'm your boyfriend," he replied and I couldn't stop smiling. "Are you blushing right now?" he asks me as he pokes my cheek. "No, I'm not. It's just the sun," I quickly came up with a lie. "Whatever, I'll take the first dip on the bathroom," I say to him.

We both are having breakfast while listening to the news about last night. "Good morning. Kara, you came in here early," May said as she saw me.

"She spent the night," Peter told her and I kicked his leg but failed because of his quick senses. "Oh, you spend the night," May says to me as she smiles at the both of us. "It's not what you think May. No. He-heh. Not at all,"

"I'm not implying anything," she said as she pour some orange juice into her mug. "Well, it kinda sounds like that's what you're implying," I replied to her. "I'm not," May quickly objects. "We're dating," Peter informs May and I just look at Peter like I have daggers coming out of my eyes.

"How long?" May asks us. "Last night," Peter answers her. "I'm gonna enjoy killing you someday," I say to Peter quietly. "I will be looking forward to it," he replied as he kissed my temple.

"Which is why, this morning, I am issuing an arrest warrant for the masked vigilante known as Spider-Man," I quickly looked at the Tv. "George, what?" I ask and Peter just abruptly got out of the kitchen. "Guess, that's my cue," I mutter and quickly finished the breakfast.

"Bye, May. Have a lovely day," I say to her and quickly follow Peter. "Peter wait," I said as I run to him. He stops and turns around. "You don't believe what they're saying do you?" he asks me.

I quickly shook my head. "No, of course, not," I say to him as I walk closer to him. "Then why do you agree with Gwen's dad last night?" he asks me. "To annoy the hell out of you. I love doing that. Especially to you. My favorite thing to do every day,"

Peter smiled hearing me saying that. "Oh, is that why?" he asks me as he pulls me closer by my waist. "Yeah," I answered and slowly wrapped my arms around his neck. "Peter, you gotta lay low," I say to him.

"I can't," he replied. "Why?" I ask him. "Because last night, whatever that was attacking those people on the bridge, would have killed them. So, I gotta go after it," he tells me. "Peter,"

"I know. But I feel like I have to do it. I have to help them," he said to me and I just nodded my head. "Question. Does your head full of bad ideas? Seriously, what is going on inside your head?" I ask him. "You," I rolled my eyes at his remark.

"Hey, where are you going?" I ask him. "Oscorp. I gotta ask Dr. Connors something," he said to me. "Dr. Connors gives everybody the week off. I don't know if he's going to be at the tower," I tell him. "It's okay. I just wanna check something,"

"Is this related to the giant lizard?" I ask him quietly and he nodded. "Yeah," he answers. "Call me if you find anything okay?" I tell him as I kissed  him. "I will," he said with a wide smile on his face and we go our separate ways.
