I don't wanna say goodbye
'cause this one means forever
Now you're in the stars and
six feet's never felt so far

Peter got called to the principal's office because he broke the backboard in the gym. Really Peter? That's how you use your powers? Unbelievable.

I quickly walk to the principal's office and it's a great time because Peter and Ben just got out of the office.

"So?" I ask them as I hold the strap of my bag. "I got community services," Peter answered and I nodded. "You know what you did was stupid right?" I ask him again.

"I know," he replied. "Look, now his brain is working again," Ben said and I just chuckle. "They're not gonna make us pay for the backboard. You know that right?"

"I don't care about the backboard. Was that true?" Ben asks Peter as they stopped walking. "What?" Peter asks Ben. "What I heard in there just now. Did you humiliate that boy?" Ben asks Peter and Ben also looked at me.

"Don't look at me. I'm not there. I was under the bleachers," I say to him. "Yeah, I did. But. . .," Peter trials off. "But what?" Ben asks Peter again. "This guy, this guy deserved it,"

"Did he?" Ben asks Peter. "Yeah," Peter answers. "Is he the kid that hit you? Is he?" Ben asks again and both Peter and I nod our heads. "Yeah, yeah, but,"

"So all of this is about getting even. If so, I guess you must feel pretty good about yourself now right?" Oh, burn. Right in the guts. Damn, Ben. "Am I right or wrong?" Peter said nothing and just stares at the floor in guilt.

"Yeah, thought so," Ben added.  "Well, thanks to this little escapade of yours, I have to change shift at work, so you have to pick up Aunt May tonight at 9 o'clock. Understood?"

Peter just nods his head. Then Ben asks him again. "Is that understood?" Peter looks at him and nods again. "Yeah, yeah," Peter answers. "Okay, good," Ben replied. "Make sure he remembers," Ben said to me and I nod. "Yes, sir,"

Then I see Gwen at the back. Been also see Gwen. "She looks familiar," Ben says to Peter, and Peter looks behind him. "She's the girl on your computer," Ben said. "Yeah, she is Peter's crush and she happens to be my friend,"

"Oh really?" Ben asks me and I nod my head. "Oh, absolutely. Peter had a crush on this girl since forever," I tell him and Peter shook his head. "No. No. I don't," Peter replied.

"Oh my God, he totally does," Ben replied. "Right?" I say to him. "He's got you on his computer. I'm his probation officer," Ben said to Gwen.

"Don't forget Aunt May," he said as he walks away. "Dude, ask her out," I say to Peter and Peter shook his head. "No, no, I'm not gonna ask her out," he said to me, and I rolled my eyes. "What? Scared she'll say no? Come on,"

"I'm not, I'm not gonna ask her out," he said to me. "Fine, whatever," I replied to him and I walked to Gwen. "Hey, Gwen. Parker here really wants to go out with you. Please go out with him," I say to Gwen. "That wasn't so hard was it?" I ask Peter as I walk away.

I watched as both of them talked and for some reason, my heart breaks a little. Why? Peter had a crush on Gwen and I noticed Gwen often stealing glances at Peter. They fit together.

I don't get why would my heart breaks. Shit, please don't tell me I have feelings for Peter. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. This is not happening. I quickly walk away. I just want to get home and get some sleep. Maybe I can find a reason why I feel these things.

Then I hear Peter running up to me. "Hey," he said as he walks beside me. "Got a date?" I ask him and he nodded his head. "Yeah, I do," he answered. "You're welcome, dickhead," I say as I nudge him.
