The three students walked the hallways of their grim school, occasionally commenting on the wall decorations to each other as they passed them.

"Well here we are," Duncan said, rolling his shoulders back and walking to the double sided bench; not noticing the three children on the other side of it. Isadora sat next to him whilst smoothening out her skirt.

"Since Nero won't need me for a bit I think I'm going to go help Ms. Caliban in the library," Camille said, flicking her uneven nails against each other; making a sort of snapping sound. "I'll come back in time, don't worry about it." She smiled at the pair and walked off.

"Be careful!" Isadora said, calling after the girl. "Lets hope she gets back before Nero calls us in."

"Lets hope," said Duncan.

A clickety-clacking could be heard as a certain red haired urchin made her way to the other side of the bench, in where the Baudelaire siblings were seated.

Stopping abruptly in front of them the girl spoke, "Hello cakesniffers!"

"Hello, um..." said a tall girl with straight hair and bangs, standing up.

"Um," the redhead spat, mocking the girl stood in front of her, "are you a blithering idiot? Everyone knows I'm Carmelita Spatz."

"I'm Violet Baudelaire, and these are my siblings Klaus and Sunny," Violet spoke.

"What does 'cake-sniffer' mean?" Klaus asked.

Carmelita scoffed before responding, "It means you're stupid cake-sniffers, but I'm the most special girl in the whole school." She pointed to the door in front of them and said, "This is Vice Principal Nero's office. He's a genius. He likes me best. I don't have to wear a uniform  'cause I'm too adorable. Come on!" She began to walk down the hall down the hall, beckoning the Baudelaires to follow her; and so they traveled out of earshot from the double sided bench and the two people sat there.

A/N: I apologise for waiting so long before updating but I was at my grandma's for a week and I've also been overflown with my sport practices since it's competition season. Camille and the Baudelaires will meet next chapter and as always have an absolutely wonderful day.
