Hello, hello! Thank you for joining me on this journey through my first AC/DC story. I had some doubts when I started planning this out, wondering if anyone would read it, but know that the number of reads, comments, or votes you have doesn't make you any better or worse a writer than you already are. I appreciate every one of you that takes the time to read my work.
I hope you had as much fun reading as I did planning and writing the story out. Ok, sometimes I beat myself up about forcing myself to write, or I had really bad writer's block, but it was mostly fun. As cheesy as it sounds, Marie is based on myself, or rather my own dreams of being in a rock band. I have written a song, so I guess I'm on my way to achieving that dream. If I could only meet Bon Scott, then that would be another dream come true. R.I.P., you beautiful rocker. I'm considering posting the lyrics to "Schoolboy" on here, but I'm worried that someone might steal them.
What can you expect from me in terms of AC/DC stories? I'm a very different fan than I was when I first got into the band. I'm more obsessed, I've listened to every album, and I don't get Phil and Cliff mixed up anymore lol. Safe to say that this book helped me delve further into AC/DC-loving insanity.
I would absolutely love, love, love to do another Marie story! I have a basis for an idea that I'm working on right now. It would be set on the If You Want Blood/Highway to Hell tour in 1979 (HtH is my favorite album, if you didn't know). Because I want to be better at publishing that story when it comes out, I want to plan out the whole story beforehand. It might not come out for a little while, but I will certainly update you guys!
