Chapter 3: First Meeting

Tris POV:

There are so many people in the park. Many people are hugging each other because they have come back from summer break. I just stand there alone for a while. I see Caleb talking to two Erudite boys and one Erudite girl, he looks happy. I smile. Then I feel some tap on my shoulder so I turn around. It is a Dauntless girl. She has cola coloured skin and short dark hair. She is tall and very pretty. I'm scared that she recognised me and that's why she taped on my shoulder.

"Is that your boyfriend or something?" she asks with a smile. I feel relived but I don't understand what she mean. Then I relies that she was talking about Caleb.

"No, no, no! He's my brother!!" I replie quickly.

"Okay take it easy I was just asking! You must me new here. Would you like..." she starts but I cut her off.

"How did you know I was new??"

"Because I haven't seen you around before and you're Dauntless and I know everyone in Dauntless!"

"Ah, okay..."

"But as I were going to ask before, would you like me to show you around campus?"

"Yes... Thank you!

"I'm Christina by the way!" she says.

"Tris." I reply. I think I might got a new friend.

Christina shows me around campus. It's really beautiful and big. We talk and laugh a lot. She's really nice I think we will be good friends. But I'm lucky that she hasn't asked about my background yet.

"Hey do you want to eat lunch with me and my friend?" Christina asks.

"I would love to" I replie. We walk to the cafeteria. I get a sallad and some water. When we have taken our food we walk to a round table with nine people sitting by it. One of the guys catch my eye. He has short brown hair and beautiful dark blue eyes. He's very handsome.

"Tris this is Uriah, Zeke, Shauna, Lynn, Four, Will, Marlene and Al. Uriah and Zeke are brothers, Lynn and Shauna are sisters. Oh and Shauna and Zeke are together and so is me and Will. Everyone this is Tris! She's a new Dauntless here!" Christina say. Four. The handsome guy's name is Four. Everyone says hi and I sit down in the middle of Christina and Al I think. Four is sitting right across me.

"So Tris what do you think of Divergent Boarding School?" Zeke asks. Or maybe it's Uriah.

"Stop with all the nice Uri! We all know it's an act!" Christina snaps, well it was Uriah. Everyone starts to laugh.

"No it's okay Christina. I think it's great here! Everything is so beautiful and big!!" I answer.

"Do you have a boyfriend?!" Uriah asks. He surprise me with the question but I decide to answer truthfully.

"Actually no I haven't..."

"That's hard to understand, but lucky me!!" Uriah says. I laugh and blush, this is embarrassing.

"So were are you from?" Al asks. Crap!

"Eee... Where am I not from! I moved a lot because of my parents jobs!" I say. That's not a lie a least.

"That must of been so lonely!! Do you have any brothers or sister?" Shuna ask.

"Yes I have, one brother!" I say. I'm so lucky to have Caleb, he and Hazel has been my family when mom and dad where gone.
