Chapter 13: The Break Up

Tris POV:

I walk up to Uriah who's sitting on a bench in the park, I know I have to break up with him. I can't like Four and be with Uriah. It isn't fair to him. Uriah sees me. 

"Hey babe. How are you? I have been worried!" he says. He kiss me and I kiss him back. I have to break up with him now, this isn't right. But in some wired way will I miss this... Uriah is a really good kisser and I like him. But I like Four more. We break apart.

"Hi... It's okay, I'm fine! Eee... You wanna take a walk with me?" I ask and he nod. We walk in silence for a while. Then I know that I have to say something.

"Uriah... I like you very much. But... I think we need to break up" I blurt out. I hope that he doesn't hate me.

"I know... I think so too" he says. He surprises me.

"So your not mad that we just made out and now I'm breaking up with you?" I ask confused. 

"No we're better as friends, I know that now. And I have seen the way you and Four look at each other. You're like made to be together" he says. That surprise me even more.

"I don't know about Four... But I'm really happy that we will still be friends. I really don't want to lose one of my best friends"

"Me either! I love you Trissy-Poo"

"Love you too Uriah" I say and hug him.

"And one more thing..." Uriah says after we break apart.

"I think I'm starting to get feelings for Marlene" Uriah says.

"Uriah, that's so great. You two would make the perfect couple. And for your information, she likes you too. Anyone with eyes can see that" I say happy. I truly are happy for him. Marlene have liked him for like forever and they are perfect for each other.

"You sure?" he asks.

"Of course I am" I answer and hug him again. He hug me back.

"I'm glad we're still friends!" he says.

"Me too! But I have to go, I'll see you tomorrow. Bye Uriah" I say and walk away. I have to get to Isabella she probably need me right now. When I get back to my room I see Hazel is trying to comfort a crying Isabella. When Isabella sees me she comes running to my arms.

"Bella, honey! What's wrong?" I ask her and pick her up.

"I tired..." she says crying. I pull her closer.

"Oh sweetheart. Don't you want any dinner?" I ask. She just shake her head.

"Okay princess let's get you ready for bed"

I get her ready and she fall a sleep directly. Then I get a text, it's in the gangs group chat.

Christina: Hi!! Does anyone what to do anything off campus tmw?? ~C

Zeke: Hell yeah!! ~Z

Marlene: What are we doing to do?? ~M

Me: We should go and play paintball!! ~T

Al: Great idea Tris! ~A

Uriah: Yeah Trissy-Poo! Who's in? ~U

Four: Me!! ~4

Shauna: Me too! ~S

Christina: Me obviously ~C

Will: I'm going if you guys are! ~W

Lynn: I never miss a good pinball game!! ~L

Zeke: Good looks like everyone's in! See ya tmw! ~Z

God, I love my friends. Hazel said she could watch Isabella for me but she wanted next weekend free so that she could visit her family. That's good because I really want and need to spend more time with Isabella. Maybe I could take her off campus and we could go shopping. I eat dinner and also go to sleep beside my beautiful little daughter.

Next morning I get ready for paintball. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans and a tight black tank top. I do my make up and pull my hair up in a high ponytail. When I'm about to go Isabella wakes up crying.

"Hi Bella. What's wrong?"

"Head hurt me..." she says crying. What's wrong with her? I lay one of my hands on her forehead. She's very warm, she must have a fever. I'm sopost to go and meet my friends now but I can't leave Isabella with this fever. She'll only want me today. I take her in my arms and walk out to the living room where Hazel is.

"Hi Hazel I think that Isabella have a fever so I won't leave her today" I say.

"Okay Ms. Beatrice. Is it okay if I take the day off then? I would really like to go into the city and look around so I can take Isabella there later"

"Yeah sure"

Thank you, Ms. Beatrice. Bye" she says and walk out of the door.

"Well, I guess it's just you and me now Bella" I say and she nod.

"Wanna watch some tv?" I ask and she nod again. I text my friends that I can't come because I'm sick. I walk over to the couch with Isabella in my arms, turn on the tv and sit down with her in my lap. I have missed spending time with her, I love her so much.
