Chapter 6: First Day Of School (Four's POV)

Four's POV:

I wake up to my alarm clock. Ugh, first day off school. I get up and get ready for school. When I'm done my phone ring. I pick up.

"Hello" I say

"Hello is this Mr. Four I'm speaking with?" a voice says.

"Yes this is he"

"Good. We was wondering if you could watch the Dauntless 17 year olds study hour? The teacher that was sopost to has gotten really sick and we can't find anyone els! It's not hard, you will just have to watch them so they study and not are doing anything els. You'll not have to teach! So will you do it? You'll of course get extra credit for it!"

I think. I don't know... It would be kind of fun to scare a bunch of 17 year old Dauntless teenagers. And I would get extra credit for doing it.

"I'll do it!"

"Great! You will be in room 460. It starts after lunch and the lesson is 60 minutes long. I checked and you have free period then so it won't be a problem with your own classes"

"Okay!"

"Good. Have a great first day off school Mr. Four! Goodbye"

"Thank you! Bye!"

Well I guess I'm a substitute now...

*Time skip to Fours first class*

I walk into the class room and I'm ready to start the class. All the students are talking loudly. Of course they do, they are Dauntless. I look up at them and I directly spot a beautiful girl with blonde hair in the back of the class room. Tris. Shit! I forgot that Tris is 17. Uriah and Christina is also in this class. God, this will be so weird. I'm still looking at her when she looks up at me. Once she sees me a smile comes across her face. We just look into each others eyes for a while but when I understand what I'm doing I quickly look away. I can't be with Tris. I really like her but it would be inappropriate. I cough.

"Okay everyone shut up, class has started!" I say in my scary teacher voice. Everyone quiet down and some people look scared.

"Good. So this is study hour. Here you can study whatever you want. I really don't care what you do just do something that has something to do with school. I'm Four your teacher this semester..." I say in my scary voice. Almost everyone looks a little scared.

"But you are a student!" someone from the back of the classroom screams.

"Yes I go here. But the teacher who would had you guys became really sick so I'm here for the moment until they can find someone els. Get to work now I'm getting really sick by all you talking!" I say.

"But Four we don't have anything to do... It's the first day of school so we haven't got any homework." a random boy says nervous and scared. Oh, this is so much fun!

"Okay then just do whatever you want! Just stay in the room." I say. Everyone starts talking again. I can see Tris talking to Uriah and Christina. Uriah is checking her out but of course she doesn't notice. She doesn't say so much just listening to Christina talking, a typical conversation with Christina then. Uriah says something that makes Tris laugh. I feel jealous. I want to be the one how makes her laugh, I want to be the one that makes her smile and be happy. But I can't think that way. I'm her substitute and it would be inappropriate. I can see that Tris pull a block out of her bag and look around. Then she starts to draw in the book. I can't see what she draws but I would really like to know. Then Tris look up and look into my eyes. She smiles, God her smile is one of the most beautiful things on earth. But I quickly look away, I can't do this. I can't have a crush on a girl I never can have. After an hour the bell ring and everyone leaves. Well everyone besides Tris, Uriah and Christina.

"You didn't tell us that you have us in study hour." Christina said.

"No I just found out this morning and I didn't know I had you guys. So how did I do?" I ask.

"You did really good. I think everyone got really scared by you!" Tris says laughing. I laugh back.

"She's right! Except for us of course!" Uriah says.

"Yeah... You can't fool your closest friends!" Christina says. Everyone laughs.

"Well we better get going! Bye Four!!" Uriah says and take Tris arm and drag her and Christina out of here. Something fall out of Tris bag. I were just about to scream after her but they was gone. I pick it up and see that it's the block that Tris drew in earlier. I know that I probably shouldn't look in it but I just can't resist. I open the block on a random place. The drawing that I see is of a little girl. She looks a lot like Tris, she have the same shape of eyes, nose and mouth. I look at the other drawings and a lot of them is on the little girl that looks like Tris. All her drawings are truly amazing I never thought she could draw this well. Then I get to the drawing that she must of drawn on today. It's of a guy. He looks familiar in some kind of way but I don't know why. I look at him then I know why he looks familiar, Tris has drawn me.
