Special thanks to Tyrogamer14 for this video to help me with a story.

The following morning....

Sammie is in the courtyard, where a large group of students gather around the vandalized Ollie the Tiger statue. She hears people whispering about yesterday's run-in with Hearst.

Ezra: Caleb was telling me someone from our school did it.

Payton: I heard that, too!

Sammie: I can't believe this.

Michael: Well, whoever spray painted him is gonna pay.

Before Sammie can respond, Michael storms off. She approach Myra and Luis standing nearby next to a trash can.

Luis: Poor Ollie. And a Berry student? I don't get it.

Myra: I bet whoever did it must feel terrible. I'd hate to have to keep a secret like that.

Luis: I hope they come forward soon.

Sammie: Me too. It'd be for the--

Suddenly, Isa appears.

Vice Principal Isa: Why are you all standing around here? Don't you all have class to attend?

Sammie and the students around her scramble to class just as the school bell rings.

Later that day, before second period....

Maria: Sammie! Is it true?

Sammie shut her locker and see Maria bolting down the hall, her eyes fixed on her.

Sammie: Is what true?

Maria: I heard that Hearst didn't vandalize Ollie the Tiger....Someone from Berry High did!

Sammie: If you believe the Hearst students, yeah.

Maria: I'm going to get to the bottom of this, and you're coming with me.

Sammie: Investigate with you? But why me?

Maria: I need your help. You were there when the Hearst students showed up. And honestly, you're the only person I can trust. Whoever did this is probably sitting right under our noses.

Sammie: Well, when you put it that way....All right then! I'm in.

Maria: Now, before we get started, I was thinking, do we want anyone else to help us? It might go smoother to have a third person.

Sammie: Who did you have in mind?

Maria: Well, Emma and Aiden both strike me as especially perceptive. Caleb would also be a good pick because he knows everyone. And, as much as I hate to trust him with anything, Michael's clearly dedicated to the cause. I think any of them could help us catch our culprit!

Sammie: Well, I will ask Emma if she will have to investigate this.

Sammie find Emma at her locker. She retrieves a textbook as she sees her approach.

Emma: Hey, ladies! Did you see what happened to Ollie? It's just awful. He looks so sad in red paint.

Sammie: About that....How would you like to help us catch the culprit?

Emma: You really want my help? Yes, of course! Whatever it takes.

Maria: Fantastic. I've got faith in the three of us. Come on, let's check out the scene of the crime! There's bound to be some clues around there.

The ladies make her way to the courtyard. The spray-painted Ollie the Tiger dominates her view.

Maria: Let's split up. We'll cover more ground that way.
