"Come in Dolly."
I entered the front room and slipped my uggs off, walkin' up to her. "Gramma Ruth I-"
She held up her hand. "I know. Carolyn told me all about it."
Tears stung my eyes. "do you hate me?"
Gramma Ruth chuckled. "Now why would I do that?"
"So... You don't?" I asked, truly stunned.
Now the old lady's chuckles became louder and more aggressive. She was crackin' up. She doubled over laughin' and tears came to her eyes. "Of course not! I always knew you loved girls."
"What? How?!" I sputtered.
"You have always talked about girls in that way." She grinned. "Even when you were little."
"Oh..." I looked down. "Well then why didn't my parents know?"
She shrugged.
My eyes watered. "W-what am I gonna do? I love her."
"Then you don't leave her."
"But my parents..."
"Don't know what they're talkin' about! I never liked them..."
I gasped. "R-really?"
She nodded. "But don't tell them that."
"I won't."

I took a deep breath as I walked in the doors of the school, bracin' myself for what was about to come.
And I was right. As soon as I walked in the hallway went silent and everyone stared at me. It was that thing where you know everyone was just talkin' about you.
I blinked rapidly to keep from cryin' and calmly walked to my locker.
This was how it went the entire day. I looked for Brooklyn everywhere but she was nowhere. People kept givin' me disgusted looks and whisperin'. I was expectin' that but it was still hard to see.
Where was Brooklyn, though? I needed her. Especially today.
I sighed and gave up, slowly makin' my way to cheer practice. I dragged my feet. I could only imagine the tauntin' I would get from Lexie.
As I entered the locker room girls squealed and covered their bra-clad chests, whisperin' in angry or smug tones. I tried to be strong but this was too much. I went to the corner to change.
I changed slowly, dreadin' the thought of facin' the cheerleaders. Especially Lexie. She was already vicious, I could hardly imagine the insults she had cooked up.
Finally I was the last one in the locker room. I finished tyin' the lace on my white sneaker and walked out of the room.
I entered the gym, expectin' to be bombarded with insults immediately. Instead everyone just turned away. Lillian shot me a disgusted look but other than that nothin' happened. Not even Lexie said anythin'.
My feet automatically carried me to the bleachers to sit with the other girls as we waited for Lexie to give us our daily commands.
But then a few upperclassmen went up to the front of the room.
"Macy, Hailey, and Kate!" Lexie yelled, clearly not expectin' this. "What the hell do you think you're doing?! Get your asses onto the fucking bleachers!"
Macy, a size 0, brunette senior stepped forward. "Sorry Lexie. We just need to say somethin'."
"Fine." Lexie huffed. "But I'm making you run extra laps for it, lardasses!"
Next, Kate, a tall blonde from the junior class stepped up, makin' eye contact with all of us all. "It has come to our attention that one of us here is a..."
"Disgustin' dyke." Hailey supplied, steppin' in.
Everyones' heads turned to me and my face turned so red and hot that you could make salsa out of it.
"Basically she should be off the squad." Hailey said. "We can't have a lesbo on the team."
I felt like cryin'. This would be a good time for Coach Porterfield to show up.
"Excuse me?" Lexie looked pissed. "Since when do you think you can kick someone off without my permission, fucktards?"
"Come on, Lex." Macy said, chucklin' a bit. "She's a dyk-"
"DON'T YOU SAY THAT!" Lexie yelled louder than I had ever heard her be which said somethin'. "EVER! IM THE CAPTAIN AND I MAKE THE FUCKING DECISIONS! SIT THE FUCK DOWN, BITCH."
I couldn't believe it. Was Lexie... Defendin' me?
The whole squad looked just as blown away as I felt.
"B-b-but-" Kate sputtered.
Hailey, who was the tough one of the trinity, I could see, rolled her eyes. "You may be captain, but if the squad votes you get overruled."
"Fuck you, lazy fatty. Maybe drop a few before you criticize others. And if I were you I would just watch out come holiday time because if I were a Jew, I would stick a stent in one of those thighs and let the Hailey blubber light the menorah for eight magical nights!" (AN: Pretty much stole this insult from glee. No hate I give credit to them!)
I didn't know whether to laugh or start cryin'.
Hailey's expression hardened. "Whatever, Lexie..." She sighed, obviously put off by the amazin' insult. "It doesn't matter. We can still overrule you!"
Kate turned to the cheerleaders. "All in favor of kickin' Carolesbo off the squad-"
"Fucking lame ass pun there, Kate." Lexie said.
Kate looked down. "Whatever. If you're in favor raise your hand."
Every single person except me and Lexie raised their hands.
Tears stung my eyes and blurred my vision. I stood quickly. "What so the girls who had my backs a couple days ago now hate me? Because of who I love?"
They all looked away.
"Whatever." I sniffled. "Whatever..." Then I dashed out of the gym as quick as I can. I practically tore my uniform off, leavin' it on the floor for them to pick up. Then I put on my clothes in record time and sprinted from the school and to the park.
I hated them. I hated every single one of those bitches. Except Lexie of course.
"I HATE THOSE BITCHES!" I screamed as loud as I could. I never cussed, but my reputation was ruined anyway. Who cared at this point?
"FUCK YOU ALL!" I yelled. "FUCK YOU!"
"I agree." Came a soft voice.
I whipped around. "Brooklyn!" I raced up and hugged her. "Why weren't you at school today?!"
She was cryin'. "I got hurt."
My eyes widened as she lifted her shirt to reveal a large bruise.
AN: So yeah I hate the whole cheerleading squad except for my bae, Lexie. She is a certified bae, alright? So all of you who didn't like her should shut up because she will be a major helper in this story. Hope you guys liked it! Remember to vote, comment and share! Love you!
