Bosco's POV:
----

"I feel like you wore this just so you can tease me all night." Jasmine giggled softly, making me jump when she wrapped her arms around me from behind. I blushed as I watched her slip a finger under the leather strap against my side, squeaking when she pulled it away and let it snap back against my skin.

"Min-" I huffed softly but pressed back against her chest. "...You better not be horny in front of all the cool people at the party-"

Jasmine laughed, kissing my cheek before helping me hook my choker around my neck. "You have no room to judge, Coco."

I couldn't argue with that. I smiled and let her place my bag over my shoulders, holding still as she had Jeffrey poke his head out of it. "There. Now you're all set."

I turned and laid my head against her chest, gazing up at her in admiration despite my nerves. "You'll stay with me the whole time, right?"

"Of course." Jasmine said, holding her hand out with her pinky finger up. "I won't leave your side."

I linked my pinky finger with hers before pecking her lips softly.  I knew there was no way Cassie could be at this party. It was high security and even we had to have special badges that would allow us to be let in. But I was still nervous.

There was a gentle knock on the door, and I turned around to see Orion stepping inside. She held up the badge that was around her neck. "Alyssa gave me a press badge." She said as she showed it to us. "I'm nervous. What if like, my camera isn't as cool as the other photographer's there? Or what if my hands start to shake because there's so many people around and I get scared?"

"That's why I'll be with you." Jorgeous came in behind her, hopping up to kiss her cheek. "I'll help you steady your hands if it gets that bad."

I smiled, fixing my hair one more time. "You'll be alright, Ry. Any pictures you take will come out perfect."

Orion nodded a little, fidgeting with the keychain on her camera bag. "I really hope so..."

"Do I look okay?" Camden asked as she opened the door, twirling so we could all see her skirt. "Angie said I do but she's probably just biased. And I need to look okay if we're really going to be around people who are cooler than us."

"You look perfect, Cam. We promise." Jasmine said as she fixed her lipstick. I watched her before leaning down to kiss her lips, making her squeak. "Coco-"

I giggled softly as Angie followed Camden in, busy on her phone. She wore a scarf around her neck, which wasn't too weird considering it was getting colder now. But this had been her outfit of choice all week, which really wasn't like her. "Those fancy cars Daya said we're being picked up in are almost here."

I had never even been close to anything like that before. And the only parties I had been to were shitty high school and college ones during my first year here. So this was all new to every single one of us.

I just hoped it would go better than the last time.

"You think the girls are okay?" Jorgeous asked softly, helping Orion with her hair.

I hoped they were. I wasn't as worried about Daya and Alyssa. Willow and June had gone with them when they were picked up earlier and they usually handled parties well. It was Maddy I was worried the most about.

"I'm sure they're okay." I said, holding Jasmine's hands. "But Maddy...nah, I'm sure Maddy's fine."

Maddy's POV:
----

I was not fine.

This place was huge. We were at one of Alex's houses, and I had already managed to get lost once. There was a stage in the front room of this place. How the hell was there a stage in this place?

"Maddy, can you please sit still for me sweetie?" Liza's voice snapped me out of my racing thoughts. "I'm almost done with your makeup."

I sighed but did my best to hold still. I felt bad for her, I knew I wasn't the easiest to deal with. I knew she probably wished she had been assigned to Daya or Alyssa instead. "I'm sorry..."

"It's alright, I know you're nervous." She said, swiping a makeup brush over my cheek. "But you'll be alright. I promise."

I bit my lip but nodded a little, glancing at my reflection in the mirror. We were in some room on the top floor, and I had no idea if my friends were close by. "W-Where are Daya and Alyssa?"

"Daya is with Lux and Alyssa is with April. Remember?" Liza said gently. "I think they're going to do Willow and June's makeup and find something for them to wear too. So they can be in pictures as well."

I nodded a little, but my heart sank slightly at the reminder that I didn't have anyone to be with. It was just me. And it felt lonely. I glanced up at Liza once she was done spraying the setting spray.

"Will you be there...?" I asked quietly. "Like, off to the side or something. In case...I need you?"

"If you need me to be, I will be." She smiled a little, moving onto my hair. "I can hold your blanket if you'd like? I know she helps you calm down."

I was able to smile a little, standing up when she finished fluffing up my mullet. "That would be nice..."

"Then I'll do that for you." She said as she took my hand, leading me to where my outfit for the night had been hung up. "Now let's get you ready for sound check before everyone starts showing up."

I sighed in relief when the leather outfit had long sleeves, letting Liza help me into it. I knew she had seen them and knew why I was covering myself up, but she didn't mention it. But I did notice she had yet to bring me any outfits with short sleeves since the day we first met.

"If you need to change out of the heels tonight, I can bring you back up here." She said, holding my blanket and watching as I pulled them up to my thighs. "It's gonna be a long night of standing and performing for you."

I nodded, taking deep breaths to calm my growing nerves. I stood up and glanced at myself in the mirror. "Alright, I think I'm ready..."

Liza smiled and grabbed my hand, leading me out of the room and towards the elevator. If this was just one of Alex's houses, I wondered what the others were like. And I wondered what exactly our future held now if everything kept going smoothly.

It definitely seemed to be a brighter future than I thought I would get.

When the elevator doors opened downstairs, I was met by Daya and Alyssa. I smiled and quickly ran to them despite the heels, grabbing onto their arms. "I missed you."

"It's been like two hours." Daya laughed, but took my hand to lead me and Alyssa to the stage. "But we missed you too."

"Wait!" I jumped a bit when hearing a very familiar voice, turning around with wide eyes.

Adore rushed over, smiling as she motioned for me to follow. "Maddy, can I talk to you?"

I froze, not able to speak before Daya nudged me forward. "Go to her-" She spoke in a hushed whisper. I stumbled before Alyssa steadied me, and I slowly but surely made my way over to Adore.

I looked up at her, feeling more intimidated than ever. "H-Hi..."

"Hi." She laughed a little before talking a little quieter. "Look I listened to the album. You guys are really good."

I felt my cheeks burning under my makeup, my heart pounding in my chest. Adore fucking Delano thought we were good.

"And after talking to Alex, I had an idea. If you're down." She continued. "My tour starts next summer. And I need an opening act."

I could've sworn my heart stopped right then and there.
