Daya's POV:
----

Our Thanksgiving break was spent packing up everything in our old house. Which wasn't a whole lot furniture wise thankfully. We weren't exactly the best interior designers. But damn did we have a lot of weird shit.

"Maddy, I don't think we need to bring Harry." I said, watching her attempt to neatly fold up the old cardboard cutout that hadn't been out of that closet since we moved here. I don't think it had even see the light of day since high school.

"Don't insult him. He's coming." Maddy huffed, managing to fold it and place it into an open box. "I'm gonna leave him in random places around the house to scare our friends."

I shook my head, going back to sorting through the millions of cases of video games, most of which didn't even have a disk in them. Those I tossed to the side for Alyssa to deal with, because Lord knows it was her who had the habit of not putting the games away. She had been helping just a couple minutes ago, but was now curled up on the other side of the couch with Maddy's blanket over her. So she was obviously done for the day.

I tossed another empty case into the pile before yelping when one of Maddy's stuffed animals was thrown at me. I turned to her, huffing. "Baby-"

She gave me a look before motioning towards the kitchen. Willow was sitting on top of the table, getting distracted from packing by old yearbooks she had found and was giggling while looking through.

"Go give it to her." Maddy whispered, beckoning towards my pocket.

No, I was not proposing. That would come later when I felt the time was very special and right. But I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about the times she wouldn't be touring with us. Maddy was good at calming my nerves, but I didn't know what I'd do without Willow.

So I was cliche and got her a gift. Even though I told myself I'd never give into cliches.

I sighed, pulling myself up and going to the kitchen. I wrapped my arms around Willow from behind, making her squeak as I laid my head over her shoulder. "What you looking at?"

Willow giggled, laying her head against mine.  "Freshman you in your braces." She said, showing me the picture.

I grimaced, closing the yearbook quickly so I wouldn't have to see it. "That's gross-"

Willow pouted. "No-" She placed it into one of the open boxes on the table. "I had a crush on you even then and you never noticed."

I held onto her tighter, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "I'm sorry." I apologized, pulling an arm away and reaching into my pocket. "I hope I'm making it up to you now."

Willow smiled, leaning back against my chest. "You are. You're all mine now."

I stood up straight, carefully opening the box. Inside were two necklaces, half a heart for her, and half a heart for me. It was a little basic, but Maddy and Alyssa said they were cute. So hopefully Willow would agree. "I got you something..."

Willow tilted her head, about to turn around before I lifted the necklace over her head and clipped it around her neck. She looked down at her half of the heart, immediately smiling. "Awww, Dee-Dee-"

"It's a little basic, I know." I said, letting her turn around as I clipped my own on. "But I'm gonna miss you a lot during the times I'm not able to bring you on tour with us. And I wanted something that would like...keep us connected."

Willow giggled, pulling me down so she could connect each of our halves to make it one. "I love them, Dee-Dee." She smiled, wrapping her arms around my neck. "My big softy."
