Storms

(Warnings: notfin it's all cute :))

Third person:

Felix has been scared of thunder and lightning for god only knows how long. Jack figured that out around their first sleepover in 7th grade.

A loud boom and cackle was heard outside, Jack watched Felix flinch and quickly walk away from the window. The shorter 12 year old started to bite his nails until Jack walked over. "You alright man?"

Felix hugged himself and started to shake. "Y-..yeahyeah-I'm-im fine." He replied, trying his best not to stutter. Jack exhaled and opened his arms. Felix didn't hesitate to run into them, holding Jack close.

"Are you scared? It's okay if you are, I get it."
"R-really? That's not weird or..a-anything?"
"No! Not at all, I'm scared of the dark sometimes, it's okay!" Jack smiled, hugging Felix tightly before hearing rain start to pour.

Felix held onto Jack for hours that night.

Now they were dating, and a storm was on its way. Jack knows that Felix doesn't like them, he knows about his fear. He just doesn't know how bad it got over the years.

Felix walked into the kitchen and opened the oven, he made cookies for Jack as today was their anniversary. The second he leaned down to get it, thunder hit. Felix jumped and immediately cussed at himself before grabbing the cookies and quickly putting them on the top of the counter.

Felix groaned as he tossed the oven mitts off, looking at his arm. His arm touched the top of the stove.

"Fucking Christ-Jesus-" he muttered as he looked at it. It hurt like hell. He turned the stove off and went to walk back to the living room.

Before the electric went out. Felix tripped over something but felt arms on his waist, pulling him close. Felix gasped but turned around the moment the lights came back on. Jack smiled brightly. Felix blushed with embarrassment.

"J-Jack-"
"Hi baby, you alright?" Jack asked and Felix nodded before hearing thunder. Felix grabbed onto jacks arm, digging all his nails into him.

Jack flinched and pulled Felix into a hug. "Wel-" then rain started to pour.

Felix latched onto Jack as Jack looked down at him. "are you okay.."

"Mhm..y-yeah." Felix spoke, pushing jack off as he started to walk to the stairs.

   Lightning hit, making felix jump. He was gone within a few seconds. Jack looked at the stairs. "Felix??" Jack spoke, walking to them then up.

   He opened their bedroom, only to find a pile of blankets on the bed, shivering.

   Jack chuckled lightly as he walked over to it, sitting down onto the bed. Jack placed his hand on Felix's back, watching as he slowly revealed his head to look at jack.

   "Felix.."
   "I'm sorry! I know I'm weird I just—..huh?" Felix's eyes widened as Jack placed his lips on Felix's nose, kissing it slightly before pulling away and smiling.

   "It's okay, how are you feeling.." Jack spoke, sitting up and holding his arms out. Felix exhaled and slowly came out form under the blankets and sitting on jacks lap. Jack leaned against the bed frame.

   "tired..s..scared." He spoke, shaking slightly. Jack pulled him into a hug.

   "It's alright..you know you never explained to me why you're so scared of storms.." Jack chuckled as Felix nuzzled his head into jacks neck.

   "I Just..am. They're scary, thunder is loud..lightning can kill.." Felix spoke as he placed a small kiss on jacks neck. Jack blushed lightly and held Felix close. "It's alright..hey, what about we go do something tomorrow?"

   "Like?"
   "Maybe go out for the day? Anywhere you want." Jack smiled as Felix sat up and locked eyes with him. The shorter man smiled brightly and nodded before kissing jacks cheek.

   "Thank you.."
   "You're welco-" thunder hit. Felix squeaked and dug his nails into jack, hugging him tightly. Jack smiled.

   "You're welcome.."

   I have a couple ideas for another chapter, so I hope I post it soon. Maybe I'll go thru my notes and finish a chapter that's on there and post it <3
