   Third person:

   "please-be safe-" Felix said as he walked out the door with Jack, watching him go to his car. "yeah-yes I-I love you-"

   "don't say it like that, it makes it seem like you're not coming back-"
   "I will-Felix I will I fucking promise." He said as he got in his Impala.

   Felix exhaled as he quickly went back inside, watching his three kids make a mess in the kitchen.

   "Dad? Where's daddy going?" Molly asked.
   "He's uhm..to work-"
  "No, Dad why did he leave like that." Sophie said as she looked at him.

   Felix sighed.

   "he got a call..an active shooting..except there's 5 instead of just..one or two. A-and Jack he's- yeah he has a good shot but- he likes to go in alone and who's to say he doesn't get fucking shot and beaten to death cause he's a cop?"

   "Put your hands in the air, drop your-..weapons.." Jack said as he walked into the place, holding his gun tightly.

   "Walten, get your ass back here. We weren't even ready to go in yet, they have exits!"
   "Lin im alrigh-" Jack stopped talking as he looked up to some weird balcony inside the building. It's a mall in Detroit, it gets robbed, but not so much shootings.

   "walten- THE LEFT-" she said as she ran inside before Jack got smacked by a gun. He fell quickly.

    "Motherfucker!" He yelled, aiming his gun at the person and shooting before he ended up missing-

   Four others came to the room, holding the two cops at gun point, as the other cops were outside trying to figure everything out, some were coming inside.

   "Come any closer or make a noise and I'll shoot!" A guy said, aiming a gun at jacks head.

   Jack went to say something before being kicked in the mouth and nose, watching blood slowly form and drip.

   She talked.

   Felix dropped the kids off as school and was in the middle of talking to a patient before he heard an ambulance getting closer to the hospital.

   "Hm..excuse me." Felix said as he walked out, going to the front desk.

   "yeah, explain to me why there's an ambulance coming, when I was never told it left?"
  "we didn't have time, Male, 28, bleeding from mouth and nose as he has two bullet wounds. Go quick sir." Rose said as she watched Felix's heart drop as he quickly ran to the exit.

    Felix was rushed into a room as he didn't know what the fuck happened until they got the patient on the table.

   "I.." Felix stared for a moment before feeling like he needed to puke-he-

   "I-I-"
   "I can handle this and get him into surgery, don't worry Felix." Rose said as the doctor quickly walked out of the room.

   His own fucking husband.

   He got hurt, he got fucking shot.

   Felix took a step out of the hospital and reached into his pocket, pulling out a vape. One of the large ones, where you have to push the button when you inhale.
