(Warnings: racism / Hating on woman😟)
Sorry for any typos
Third person:"A-are you sure you wanna go back that far?"
"Well yeah—why is it-a problem?" Jack asked as he looked at rose who sighed."It's just..you're not exactly white, and racism is really big back then, 1950 is almost 100 years ago." She spoke, she had a point.
Jack understood everything.
——1950
"No, no! I bought you an Electric fucking stove! You can at least make me lunch!" The man yelled as he fixed his tie. His wife sighed as she walked back to the kitchen. Where she fucking belonged.
The man is Felix Kranken. He's 26, and works as a business man. Making a total of 3.75$ an hour, which was considered rich then.
Toy cars toddlers ride on that are electric today are around 50 to 1000$ today, as of 2022. If they were around in 1950, it would be at least 20 to 30$, which if you could afford one you were rich as hell.
Linda walked back and handed Felix his lunch for work. "get this fucking house cleaned. please."
——
After work, he was on his way back home, walking in New York. It was busy—a lot of people walking. Hopefully he doesn't bump into anyon— "shit-" Felix muttered as he fell to the ground. The other person fell down as well.
"Oh god I'm—im so sorry I wasn't paying any attention-" The man spoke as he helped Felix up. Felix looked at the male and took a tiny step back.
"It's—it's alright uhm—"
"You alright? You seem—scared.." he chuckled.Felix looked at the man. He wasn't white, okay—DEFINITELY not white. He was tall, around 6'4. His black hair was curly and pulled back while some fell infront of his face. He wasn't white, but he wasn't exactly—black either.
"I'm—what's your name..?" Felix asked as he started to walk, letting the man follow him.
"Jack, Jack walten..you?"
"Felix..Kranken. I've never seen you around before, so—why are you—""I can't get into that, sorry.." Jack chuckled as he shoved his hand into his pocket. Felix nodded as the taller male walked beside him.
"You got somewhere to stay? Hotels might not let you in."
"W-why? Why wouldn't they?" Jack asked as Felix stopped walking, glaring at jack. Jacks hand slipped out of his pocket.
"Cause you're not white. That's why, they might think you—stole something, or you're there for—bad intentions. Maybe you're getting away from the cops? How would they know, I mean your watch looks pretty expensive." Felix chuckled as Jack started to feel uncomfortable.
"I—..o-oh..yeah."
"It's alright Walten, we have a guest room if you wanted to stay in. I'm not like them."
"Are you sure? I don't wanna be a burden or anything."
"Oh im positive, my wife wouldn't mind."Jack looked at Felix's wrist, seeing the exact same watch..weird, jacks watch is a time traveling one. It don't look older either.

It wasn't so bad, Linda was very sweet. Jack noticed how much she curled her hair, her red lipstick and the right but beautiful dresses.
Jack sat down on the couch as Felix walked into the room, seeing Linda reading. "Linda, it's 5. You know what to-"
