I pushed open the doors of the school
and walked out with Quinn close behind. Quinn and I have been close ever since my mom married her dad, Jim. Before Jim, I was an only child. Jim had four children. James, Will, Quinn and Sissi. We rarely saw James and Will, since they're in college in Australia. Sissi on the other hand was a junior. One of our biggest bullies, since we're freshman. Sissi has been bullying me ever since we became step-sisters. Quinn and I are her main targets because she can get to us at school and at home. She never really got in trouble for it. She was the perfect one of the family. She always got good grades, she had a ton of friends, she did loads of sports. And she was pretty too. Green eyes and long blonde hair that she always curled to perfection. She always wore high heels and frilly skirts or skinny jeans so tight that they looked painted on. She was the most popular girl in school and was dating the star football player, Stan. She played volleyball, basketball and she swam. She was literally perfect.

Quinn and I were the outsiders. We
Didn't really fit in with anyone. Quinn had long straight brown hair with brown eyes. She wore round glasses and always had a book with her. She always wore the same high tops and the same Link sweater. Me on the other hand, I have brown hair with blue ends. I wear black eyeliner and combat boots with ripped jeans and band shirts. I was a classic "emo". At least that's what everyone called me. Me and Quinn had alot in common when it came to hobbies. She played guitar and sang, I played piano and sang. We were both obsessed with Legend of Zelda and Minecraft. Comic books and just regular books were our version of T.V. Batman was my favorite, while Quinn liked Spiderman. Quinn was probably the best part of the marriage. She was my best friend ever since we moved in with Jim in Long Island. Before, we lived in Pheonix, Arizona. My mom owned a small dress shop. When Jim, Sissi and Quinn were on vacation, Sissi was invited to a party so they came to my mom's shop for a dress for her. My mom and Jim hit it off instantly and so did me and Quinn. Everyday, Jim and my mom left me and Quinn alone at the store to watch it. We would just sit back and read comic books while waiting for customers. Since I never knew Sissi, I thought she was like Quinn as well. They ended up staying for a month until Jim proposed. We all moved to Long Island and that's when it all went downhill. I lost best friend and gained a bully. A huge and annoying bully.

We ran into someone and she pushed us
down. "Watch where you're going, losers!" Speak of the devil. "Sorry Sissi, your big ass hair was blocking my vision." I said with a sneer. "Ugh shut up." She spat and walked away from us. "Fake ass bitch." I whispered loud enough for Quinn to hear me. She chuckled and continued reading "The Outsiders." We've both read that book a million times but it was so good, we kept reading it over and over again. We started the walk home as Sissi passed us in her pink corvette. Yes, she was supposed to drive us home but she never did.

When we got home, Jim and mom were
standing in front of the staircase, grinning. "How was school, girls?" Jim asked. "Fine," I replied, putting down my backpack at my feet. "What's up?"
"Well, the boys are coming to town this weekend and I was thinking we could go cabineering!" My mom said. "W-what!?" Quinn asked "Yepp. Sissi is upstairs packing. Get going girls."
