Chapter 6

I felt so warm, so safe, so... Turned on? I let my eyes flutter open, a small yawn escaped me as I rubbed my eyes to see static on the TV. Dustin and Mike had fallen asleep leaning on one another. Suddenly it hit me. My eyes grew wide for a second before I slowly looked up to find Eddie starting to open his eyes. I FELL ASLEEP ON EDDIE? EDDIE LET ME FALL ASLEEP ON HIM?! I played it smart and put my head back down, closing my eyes and hearing a small groan escape him.

"The fu..." He stopped when he must've realized I was asleep on him.

I could feel him gently start to shake my arm in an attempt to wake me, "Y/N? Please wake up..."

A small yawn came from me as I slowly lifted my head, "Eddie?" I asked as I yawned.

"Yes Princess," he smiled, "Let's ditch the kids. Come with me?" He asked.

"What time is it? Where are we going?" I asked as I could feel another yawn start come over me, "My parents are gonna kill me, Eddie."

"Y/N, how often do you let yourself have some fun? If they're already mad then what's the harm in staying out a little longer?" He asked, "I promise nothing bad will happen to you."

Eddie had a point. When was the last time I let myself do something 'crazy'? I looked up at him and could see him eagerly waiting for me to answer, he already knew what I was gonna say.

"Okay, Eddie. Let's go." I grinned.

We quietly got up and made our way out of Mike's and to his van. Eddie started the engine and took off, not a care in the world. I was familiar with where we were going but I've never been to the trailer park where Eddie lives. Excitement bit at my nerves, it had to be about midnight by this point. At least that is what the clock on Eddie's dash says.

"Is it really 11:36PM?" I asked.

"Yeah. Its a full moon tonight. Maybe we can look at it."

"But what about my-"

"Parents? Babe, if they're already mad, what is coming home a little later gonna do?" He asked.

This man will be the death of me. Babe? Say it again, please?

"You really do have a point. What are you trying to do, Eddie?" I asked as I smiled at him.

"Spend some time with you." He answered as he pulled up to his trailer and cut the engine.

We climbed out of the van and he grabbed his keys as we approached the door.

"Its not a mansion, but honestly, its not all bad living in a trailer park. We get the best views." He smiled as he opened the door for me.

He grabbed me a blanket and ran back, "C'mon!" He grinned as we walked back outside.

"Let me go first so I can pull you up." He said as he tossed the blankets onto the roof and climbed the ladder. About a minute later he leaned down and offered me his hand, "Just be careful climbing up. I got you." He smiled sweetly.

Oh Y/N you are playing with fire and you're gonna get burned... But it is so damn worth it. I climbed up a few steps and took his hand, letting him help pull me up. He had already spread a blanket out and sat down, offering me his hand to help me get settled. I sat right beside him, resting my head on his shoulder.

"So... Eddie, why did you really bring me here?" I asked him.

"Because the kids kept getting in the way." He said quite simply.

"Getting in the way of wha-"

Before I could finish my question I realized Eddie was kissing me. My who body felt hot and yet extremely light. Everything in me told me to crawl into his lap. I had no control over anything anymore, not one ounce. It was as if my brain gave my body control. I knew what was going on, but I couldn't move. I couldn't pull away, not that I want to. My eyes finally fluttered shut as I had moved to crawl into his lap, my legs were on either side of him as my hands moved up to cradle his face. His arms gripped my waist and pulled me to his chest. I could feel how eager he was in how hard he kissed me. I playfully bit his lip and he wasn't having it. He sat me on his lap, cradled my head and ran his tongue along my bottom lip, and I let him in. Not a shred of hesitation pulled at me, not a single part of me wanted this to end. Not a single part of me would let it end. He bit my lip and a small moan escaped my lips. Ohhhhh she is back. That daring side of me is back and this isn't the time. This is definitely not the time. Eddie suddenly pulled away. I could feel disappointment brewing inside me in place of all the raw heat.
