OCTOBER 31, 1986

Some time had gone by, and things with Eddie were simply amazing! I couldn't ask for a better more dorky, sweet, chaotic, nerdy boyfriend. Watching him play D&D was one of my favorite things to watch because of how into it he gets. He becomes so animated and immersed into what is going on. I still have no clue how to play but he loves that I show up. And I am happy to, because it means he is gonna sneak into my bedroom when he drops me off. We still haven't had sex yet. But that is about to change. He knows we are gonna have sex after hanging out with our friends tonight, and his show at Steve's party. Yes! Corroded Coffin is playing, and I am beyond excited. I stood in my front yard waiting for Steve and Robin to pull up. In all the chaos of Eddie and I getting our Halloween costumes and agreeing on a good couples costume... I forgot to buy something sexy to wear for tonight. I know Eddie isn't really expecting it, and that's part of my plan. I wanna surprise him. I wanna be a gift and he gets to unwrap me. Steve's BMW rolled up and he already had a "I'm so done" look on his face and Robin was hanging halfway out the car waving her arm as if I couldn't see her. I love them, they're my go to friends.

"Hey guys! Thanks for taking me!" I grinned.

"It's gonna be awesome!" Robin beamed at me from the front seat, "Do you know what you wanna wear?!"

"What do you mean? Her and Eddie are coming as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf..." Steve piped up.

"Umm Steve... Tonight is the night Y/N and Eddie are gonna-"

"OKAY. IM GOOD. I GET IT! What is it with everyone and that guy?" He asked as he looked at me with an eyebrow raised.

"Aww Steve, are you jealous that someone has more volume in their hair than you do?" I asked.

"I will turn this car around." He threatened.

"No you won't." Robin smiled.

"Steve, if You're here who is setting up your party?" I asked him.

"I paid the kids to do it. So be careful." He mumbled.

"You don't like Eddie but you gave his band the chance to play at your party. Steve, I think you do like him. You just wanna make sure you're the one Dustin goes to for advice." I smiled as I moved to lean in between them in the front seat.

"You.... Shut up." he grinned at the road. "So you're looking for lingerie?" He asked.

"Yup!" I smiled, "he has no idea."

"Wait Y/N... Where is this even happening?" Robin asked.

"Well you know how Eddie sells weed? We are borrowing his suppliers house. He is there making it look nice." I smiled.

"How romantic." Steve mocked.

"Don't be jealous that I'm getting some and you're in a dry spell." I hissed.

"Whoa whoa! Put the claws away!" Steve groaned. "I'm sorry. But yes. I am maybe MAYBE a bit jealous."

"I'm sorry too. Im so nervous."

"Y/N... You guys are already together!"

"I know that! But like... we've never had sex and what if he hates the way I look? Or thinks I'm bad in bed?!"

"Not gonna happen. The dude is crazy about you." Steve said, "He and Dustin come in to rent their nerd movies and he never shuts up about you. It's funny to watch Dustin get tired of hearing it. Now he knows how I feel when he doesn't shut up about Eddie."
