****Y/N'S POV****
I was practically speeding down the road to Dustin's house. They finally came! My Christmas gift for Eddie! Dustin connected me with a guy who can make custom D&D pieces and dice and I had paid him to make custom dice that match his guitar pick and one to match my pink one. He also threw in a couple of custom figures for me to paint. I hit the curb as I parked and hobbled out of the car, tripping on said curb as I ran to the front door and knocked. Dustin answered, a cheesy grin spread across his adorable features.
"They're here?!" I smiled.
"They're here! Wanna see them?!"
"OF COURSE I DO!! Henderson! You're the best!!" I screamed as I followed him to his living room.
On the coffee table sat a really nice pouch with Eddie the Banished embroidered in gold on it. It was velvet and a deep red.
"The fucking bag is beautiful!" I yelled as I sat beside him.
"I haven't seen them yet either. I wanted to wait for you!"
He opened the bag and held them in his hand. My jaw dropped and my heart skipped a beat as I saw them in his palm. I grabbed a red one that looked like it had about twenty sides to it. I held it up in the light coming from the window and stared in awe. It looked EXACTLY like his guitar pick that he always wears around his neck. The numbers were even painted gold.
"Dustin... These are absolutely perfect! And the pink one matches mine! You are amazing for helping me with this! I owed you big time!" I smiled at him as I hugged him in a tight hug.
"Easy! No collarbones!" He laughed, "I'm happy to help. I know how much you were struggling to find him a gift! But... I kinda... Added something else..."
"The figures. I know! I'm gonna paint them tonight so that everything is Ready before Christmas... In like... Two days!"
"Well... I said he added in the figures as a bonus but I lied..."
"What did you lie about?" I asked as I raised my eyebrows in confusion.
"He didn't throw them in. I got these for you two." He smiled as he handed me a smaller matching bag.
I opened up to find two small figures that looked very similar to Eddie and I! I smiled as I looked at them and then to Dustin.
"How are you so amazing? Like really. How? HOW?!" I smiled as I hugged him again.
"You're like... Kinda like a sister to me." He grinned.
"Don't tell Steve that. You'll hurt his ego. His hair can't protect that." I winked, "Well you're like a little brother to me. Thank you, Dustin!"
"Of course! I suggest you seal these with something strong after you finish painting them though." He explained.
After Dustin told me how to seal the figures and helped me pack everything up, I made my way back home, hoping my mom wouldn't see the teeny tiny scratch on the hub cap of her car from where I hit the curb in my road rage to get here sooner. I had already bought paints and everything. I ran inside and was stopped by mom.
"What is the hurry?!" She asked me.
"Eddie's Christmas gift arrived! I have to go paint it!" I smiled, "Christmas is in two days! I'm in crunch time, Mom! I gotta go paint!"
"But what about dinner?"
"Can I please eat dinner in my room? I really have a lot to do!"
"Okay, but just this once. I'll bring you a plate when dinner is ready."
