A couple weeks had gone by, and things couldn't be more perfect! Today was the last day of school and I couldn't be more excited. Two whole weeks off with Eddie, I can try to find him a good Christmas gift too! I had my backpack hanging off one shoulder and made my way to my mom's car. Eddie and the Hellfire club were meeting to plan a new campaign. I'm not too sure what exactly that includes but he said he will see me later... And told me he loves me before kissing me goodbye. We've said it time and time again and every time it's said its like the first time. I stepped out and something instantly felt off. Something familiar bit at me but I couldn't name it. I knew Jason was long gone, he wasn't near by. I raised an eyebrow and shrugged as I grabbed the keys and drove to Family Video. Eddie, Steve, Robin, and I were gonna get together to have a movie night. When I walked into the shop I smiled at Steve.

"Harrington!" I grinned as I walked up to the counter, "Any good new movies come in?"

"Hey, Y/N! We just got The Breakfast Club in." He smiled as he held up a copy, "Saved us a copy for tonight."

"Sweet! We just need popcorn and-"

"Hey Y/N." I stared at Steve staying perfectly still.

I felt a tingle of anxiety run up my spine. I know that voice. Even after all these years. I swallowed hard.

"Am I dreaming or is that you, Harrington?"

"Yeah it's me. Don't cream your pants." He said, "What do you want Billy?"

Billy fucking Hargrove. My ex. We dated in middle school... He took my virginity when ninth grade started. He was so fucking toxic and yet sweet... I thought I escaped him when he moved back to California...

"Why is he here?" I whispered to Steve.

"I know as much as you do, man." He mumbled.

I felt his presence looming behind me.

"Y/N... Nice to see you." Billy said in a smooth voice.

Oh God that voice...

"Hi... Billy. Umm what bring you here?" I asked.

He was stunning. He had long golden brown curls, a... Kinda whispy mustache... But his eyes are what makes a girl melt. His blue eyes that can be so warm and welcoming but at the same time icy, cold, and dark. He was built... He looks nothing like he did before he left. I know for a fact that he is breaking hearts in California. I just know it. He broke mine. More than once.

"Visiting for winter break. Fucking hick town." He smirked.

"Yeah... I gotta go." I said as I handed Steve the money for the movie, took it, and ran.

She ran out of the store like she was on the track team... I sighed and looked at Hargrove.

"Umm can I help you?" I asked.

"Actually... Maybe you can..." he grinned.

I can't fucking stand this guy. Not now, and not when he was with Y/N. Every time he hurt her, I was the one who had to pick up the pieces and help her feel better. He is a piece of shit and I hope he isn't gonna start shit.

"How is she?" He asked.

"She is good. Really good. She got way better after you left." I said.

"Harrington... Don't start with me. I kicked your ass before. And I will do it again."

"Hate to crush your dreams but not gonna happen. Are you gonna rent a movie or not?"

Jeez. I know Eddie isn't exactly perfect but he takes care of Y/N. Billy... hurt her. Constantly.
