"Meow....MEOW!"
Cole was immediately jolted awake by the sound of it. The sudden movement made the little cat fell from bed. As if the cat was annoyed by the fall, Cole imagined the cat pouted at him while the cat jumped back up on the bed again.
"Alright alright , I'm awake now Kai..."
Cole squished the cheek of the the little cat. It's reddish fur was very soft, and it made Cole couldn't resist himself and kept on caressed at it.
Fire was everywhere, everyone was rushing for safety
Kai purred at the affection Cole gave him. Cole smiled at Kai's purring, and it made Cole brought Kai closer to place a kiss on it's forehead. Kai proceed to licking his face back, "It tickles! hahaha.."
"Cole!"
Kai saw his lover lying there in an unconscious state, he dashed over there, not caring the heat or the little rocks that were hurting him. Kai tried his best to carry Cole back, he was devasted but it's not the right time to cry over it.
"Right, right, let me write something in my journal before I made us breakfast ,ya?"
Kai obediently jumped off of him and sat beside the bed, as if it was telling him and it was waiting for him. Cole sighed, pulling his chair out ,and started writing...
'Ever since that day, Cole has been repeating this day with the same routine over and over again. I swore to myself that I'll stay and protect him, even if I have be this state. As long as we're safe, maybe a different life like this wouldn't be bad...' Kai thought and it stared of into the space.
"Alright, it's done, let's go Kai!"
"Meow!"
