"Have you guys ever wonder, why Kai is so short?"
"Hey!" Kai snarld at Lloyd. Sadly, he has to 'look up' to him even though he's clearly older than him. Lloyd has been hitting his growing spurt really hard and keep on growing taller and taller than him.
Kai must have been the shortest in the group now, even shorter than Nya if you flatten his hair.
"It's not my fault that I'm not growing anymore," Kai pouts ,feeling embarrassed at his short height while others laughed at his embarrassment.
"Nya's been growing fine, so do your parents. What makes you an exception?" Cole questioned. Jay snickers which cause Nya to punch him on his arm and give him a dead glare .
Kai's cheek flared red. Embarrassment turned to anger
And it burst.
"AT LEAST THAT HAVE PROVEN THAT I TOOK GOOD CARE OF NYA WITHOUT THE PRESENCE OF OUR PARENTS!"
He was flustered with anger and shame, running away seemed to be the best option to do. So he did.
Kai's word hit them hard, they never realised that Kai always been the one that have a rougher childhood than them. Okay ,sure Lloyd was being abandoned by her mother at the evil school,but at least he didn't struggle for food to survive like Kai did with his baby sister at that time.
"Look what you guys did! Ughh, Kai has been a father figure to me in my whole life and yet here you guys are, laughing at his height and hurt his pride?" Nya sighed heavily as she shoot a disappointed glare at them,mostly Cole and Jay before she ran away to chase Kai.
"Cole?"
"What?"
"Why are we so dumb?"
"I had no idea,"
