A little red riding hood is trying to pick some apples , but sadly,

she is too short to do it.

"Why do I have to be so short?" She pouted as she kicked at the tree with a only a little force. I hid behind a tree just not far from her, stealing glances at her. Her really really long hair was unusually spiked but beautifully shone under the sun at the same time. It almost like the blinking stars shines in the night but right now it's in the morning instead.

I blushed when I realised how long have I observed her beautiful feature.

Oh god, staring at her for so long made me felt like a stalker. I facepalmed as I turned to look over her again. She's jumping like a cute bunny , and also a frustrated one too. Annoyance was all written on her face , I couldn't help but chuckle a bit at her attempts.

Okay , maybe I'm indeed a stalker. I stalk-, I mean *cough* follow her and see her everyday travelled this specific path. She came here everyday and that made me filled with delight.

Strange tho, usually she could just climb the tree herself (she's strong I know and I love that part of her) but strangely today she didn't.

"Stupid tre- WAA!" little red riding suddenly got scooped up. She shutted her eyes closed and for a few second ,nothing had happened. Slowly ,she opened her eyes. An apple was right in front of her. She blinked and looked down to see a giant-like man who startled her.

"Now you can pick the apple!"

He told her with a cheerful sound as she gave her a 'are you serious?' look. "Can you kindly remind me next time if you're going to pick me up again, Mr.Stalker?" She said ,sorta annoyed as she jumped down from his shoulder after picking that apple.

"What stalker? Ahahaha..." flustered and blushed at her comment ,he looked at her to make sure she didn't breake her legs from jumping down. She then turned around and smirk at him.

"You think I didn't notice a big chunck of a grey-ish tree kept on following me everyday?"

"Are you refering me to a tree?"

"That's not really the point here... Ugh whatever,"

He thought she would run away from him but she didn't. Instead, she just sat down on the grass and played with the flowers.  But even if she did run away, he wouldn't blame her though, considering his creepy acts towards her for god know how long. She noticed that giant somehow got dumbstruck, she patted the grass and signalled him to sit beside her.

Like an obedient child, he quickly rumbled over and sat beside her. "Damn , you are tall!" Her head only reach his shoulder , she had to look up to him to see his face. Messy hairlocks but gave him the special charm with a pair of wolf-like eyes and a masculine giant build? Damn , he's sexy. She blushed at her own thoughts and looked the other way.

"So uh... Hi! My name's Cole, what's yours,"

"The name's Kai, K-Kai Smith," what's wrong with you Kai? You sounded almost like a high school girl!

"Mind telling me why today you didn't climb up the tree yourself girl?"

"Girl? Who told you I'm a girl?" she ,no, he looked straight to Cole's eyes and stared at him . For the first time, Cole could actually study closely at Kai's face. Despite having a long hair, his feminine feature still couldn't hid the fact that he is a boy indeed.

"I'm sorry! I thought you're a girl because you have a beautiful-"

"Long hair,"

Blinked and blushed, Cole looked awkwardly at Kai.

"I know.. that's what everybody always persumed,"Kai muttered in a sad tone. "If you don't like your long hair,why would you keep it?"Cole asked, trying to get to know her.

"It's not like I wanted it , it's just..my grandma wouldn't like it" Kai said while picking petals out in his hands. "But why?" Kai sighed and he began to explain further.

"My grandma very love her daughter. But one day, she just left,leaving me behind with my grandma. Whenever I asked where's my mother, grandma wouldn't tell me a thing and get angry at me. My grandmother missed my mother a lot and she started blaming me for not being a daugther," Cole noticed a little sprinkle of tears started shining in his eyes. He went to caress Kai in hope to make him feel better.

"She even says that mommy left because I'm a boy , not a girl that they always wanted," Kai broke into sobs. Cole had no idea he had the ability to make a boy instantly cried like he did.

"Hey hey, don't cry! None of this was your fault,your grandmother shouldn't put the blame on you," Cole tried his hardest to console the crying boy who was in his arms right now.

After a good crying session, Kai finally pulled away. Face flushed a little from the crying , Kai muttered a sorry to his new friend.

"Since you tell me your story, why don't I tell you mine?" Kai perked up at Cole's words. He sat still and ready for the story time.

Cole chuckled a little as he began his story.

There once was a little boy who lived normally like any other kids in kindergarten. On a certain full moon, this little boy felt strange. He had a certain urge to howl , like a wolf. Lucky for him ,he was at home with his parents. Immediately, he ran to his mama and cried for help.

He found her mother , only to see a wolf-like woman stood in front of him. She's slowly transforming into a real wolf. Tears started glistening in his eyes, but he didn't run away because he knew that she was his mother.

"M-Mama?"

The woman turned to face her son, sorrow was written on her face. She was hoping that her gene would not inherit to her son, but apparently it isn't.

That night, this little boy learned that he's an abnormal hybrid creature with a rare wolf bloodline flowing in his blood.

On another full moon, he lost her mother to a bunch of crazlists who desired to study their kind. In order to protect his father and himself, he ran away from home.

'Mother Nature will accept me, right?' he thought as he ran away to the woods and never returned
