authors note: I released a new story called Silent melodie's, read it if ya want!Beyoncé Giselle Knowles
The sun shined through Onika's room, breaking past the weak barrier of glass and curtains. Beyoncé woke up slowly, she rubbed her eyes and let out a quiet yawn and observed her surroundings.
She was in Onikas bed, and damn did it feel comfortable. She's sure she could lay in it all day. She sat up and looked around, she watched as Netflix showed her random movies as a sign that she hadn't touched her laptop in awhile. She looked over to the right and smiled at the sight.
Onika was fast asleep with honeydew right under her, he must've found a way under her arm while they slept. She snored lightly as the cat breathed slowly, he was clearly comfortable because he has tucked his paws underneath of himself. Which meant he showed no signs of running from the embrace he managed to crawl into.
Beyoncé was caught on Onika, her hair was a bit messy from the dancing they did last night. She was sleeping peacefully, cuddled up with her cat. She looked over to the clock on Oniaks bedside, moving the curtain hanging from her canopy bed out of her way.
The time read 10:42 am.
Beyoncé decided to get up and stretch, groaning quietly at how good it felt. She had to use the bathroom, she went to her personal bag and grabbed her belongings, she didn't trust herself to shower right at this moment—she knew whatever she wore was going to get ruined during break-feast.
As she walked she noticed a bag on the floor, she recognized it as Onikas tote bag from yesterday. A few things had fallen out and she decided to try and place them back in for Onika. She crouched down and began placing the books and supplies back in the back when a particular book had caugh Beyoncés attention.
" 'Their summer'.." Beyoncé read outloud before smirking. She didn't know Onika likes romance novels, she honestly would have never guessed. She decided to read the back of the book, that gives her a little summary of the novel.
"When Tracey Coleman meets a new girl who's only visiting town for the summer—she falls for her in an instant. What does she do when her brother expresses his feelings for the same girl.." Beyoncé read quietly. She paused for a moment, reading over the little blurb over and over to get her head straight.
Something Beyonce wasn't so sure Onika was as of right now.
She looked back over to the sleeping beauty, still dead asleep. And then back at the book.
"..What?" She whispered. She tried to rationalize her thoughts. "Maybe Onika was just one of those allies. I mean she must be if she's friends with my gay ass.." She mumbled. She looked over to Onikas bookshelf, and decided to take a gander. She found most of them to be educational books, none of them were romance. She looked around Onikas room, and looked at the ottoman that was right infront Onikas bed. She noticed it had two mini storage places underneath.
Normally she wouldn't think anything of it—but one of the mini baskets was a bit uneven—and it stuck out just enough that the sun shined on them. They were books. She crawled over to the ottoman and pulled out one of the baskets fully and looked at them.
