Y/n is now a 12 year old child, it has been 5 years after the visit from the obelia family, and her meeting their children. It was fun having a conversation with both of them, but they did not meet after that day.
For some reason, her parents plan changed and decided to distant her from the obelia family. She didn't know the specific reason, because when she asked her parents, they responded with; "now isn't the right time."
Which made her deeply confused, but did not pry any longer.
The von Schtradius family are now heading back to their humble abode after going somewhere important. Surprisingly, the h/c haired child was not feeling anxious anymore. Instead, she was feeling empty.
Only now has she realized that she was being used. Every time they ask — or demand her to do something, they would always threaten her with stuff she wouldn't want want to happen.
They would suddenly switch their personality and become all sweet towards her after those threatening eyes of theirs.
She was feeling so ashamed that she obeys them. She was not scared of their threatening words, but she was actually blinded by fear of being a disappointment to the family.
The child was fully aware of her family not loving her, but yet, why does she still tries so hard to please them?
It wasn't just fear of being a disappointing child. Ah, right. Maybe it was because —
"Y/n, what are you waiting for? Get out of the carriage, we don't have time." said alexandre strictly while raising a brow at the child's weird behavior again.
"Apologies," she stepped out of the carriage with half lidded eyes. "I seem to have spaced out again."
Both parents were actually surprised at her sudden change of attitude. She was usually noisy and loud, but her mood seems down today.
