Jay Halstead's babygirl

Chapter 1

Since the beginning of the summary of the story detectives Jay Halstead and Hailey Upton was working on getting Jay a DNA too get a match of the little girl that they met, they called his brother doctor William Halstead too see if they can run a DNA test on Jay and Lacie. Once they got ready to go they get Lacie into Jay's truck and head out too the hospital.. When they got their Hailey could tell that Jay was nervous and shocked at the same time so she confirmed him as she spoke..
"hey Jay it's going to be ok."
" I hope so, I hope that this little girl is my daughter." Jay said as he looked threw his truck window
" I hope so too now let's get in.." Hailey said as she grabbed his arm gently
" oh and if I need help I'll let you know." Jay said as she nodded but turned to him as she said
"promise?" Hailey asked as she was looking into his gorgeous green eyes
" I promise let's go in.."  Jay said as they got out of the truck and walked to the back seat to get Lacie and she looked at them scarily as Hailey said
" mama." Lacie said and they where shocked
" hopefully." Hailey said as she looked at Jay who chuckled

( in the hospital)

" hi how can I help you?" Doctor Sarah Reese asked
" hi doctor Reese umm is William around today?" Hailey asked
" yes he is do you want me to page him?" She asked
" Yes please." Jay said as he was holding Lacie
" aww you have a daughter Halstead?" Sarah asked
" well not yet. But I hope soon." Jay said as he was looking at Hailey than back at Lacie
" alright I'll call him to run a DNA test on you guys and especially Hailey." Sarah said and Upton was shocked
" what! Why me?" Hailey asked
" too see if your her mother." Sarah said as they nodded while still looking shocked
" thank you Sarah." Jay said as they walked tords the waiting room
" no problem." Doctor Sarah said

( in the waiting room)

" Jay what was Sarah talking about?" Hailey asked her best friend
" I have no idea, but Lacie does have your blond hair though." Jay said
" yeah your kinda right, but what would the intelligence say? What would Hank say? What would Trudy say?" Hailey was filled with questions making Jay laugh
" I gotta question for you." He said smirking
" oh and what would that be?" She asked
" when was the last time we had sex?" Jay asked as he saw her blush
" Jay Halstead we were friends back than." Hailey said
" yeah but what if Lacie is our child?" Jay asked
" yeah your right, umm maybe like a few months ago." Hailey said as he shooked his head
" and we had one when Erin was around too." Jay said as she looked at him
" still talking about Lindsay?" Hailey said chuckling
" what no! She wasn't that great unlike you, your excellent." Jay said as Hailey blushed again
" Stopp making me blush." She said as Jay smirked
" oh but I can't." He said as she kisses him and he kissed her back when they let go she said
" fine fine." Hailey said
" what? Fine what?" Jay asked
" I love you." Hailey said and Jay was shocked but smiled
" I love you too babygirl." Jay said
" Hailey Upton and Jay Halstead." Doctor Natalie Manning called
" let's go sexy." Hailey said as he blushed
" after you my lady." Jay said as she smirked as she carried Lacie with them inside

( out of the waiting room: into the doctors office)

" so who wants to go first?" William asked
" I'll go you want me to go?" Jay asked her
" sure than I'll go after you with Lacie." Hailey said as he nodded
" I though you were scared of needles." Natalie asked
" I am. But I don't think that this one is going to ouch-." Jay was cut off by his brother putting a needle in his arm
" as you where saying?" William said as Jay groaned
" hehehe, my turn." Hailey said as Jay got up
" do you hate needles as well?" Natalie also asked
" nope not even one bit ouch-." Upton was also cut off
" all done, now little Lacie." William said as the little girl hugged Hailey
" hey princess it's ok he's just gonna do a needle than its over ok." Jay said softly
" see it's all done." William said as he got up
" we might have the results back in like 2 minutes." Natalie said as they walked out
" thank you." Hailey said
" mommy daddy." Lacie said and they where shocked
" don't worry well find out in two minutes." Jay said as doctor Charles came in
" hi detectives Halstead and Upton so the test results came back and it looks like your the parents of Lacie Maya-Angelou" doctor Charles said and they were shocked
" so it's now Lacie Maya-Angelou Halstead." Hailey asked shocked
" yes indeed it is." Doctor Charles said as he was by the door
" thank you so much." Jay said
" your welcome and if you need anything else just let us know and you guys are free too go." He said as he left
" Mommy." Lacie said as she looked up at Hailey
" yes baby!" Upton asked
" can I live with you and daddy." Lacie asked and Jay was ready to set some tears in his eyes and so was Hailey
" sure you can sweetie after all you are our daughter now." Jay said as they all hugged
" now we just gotta keep it a secret." Hailey said as she saw her now boyfriend nodded
" we will I promise." Jay said as they walked out of the doctors office into his truck and head home..
