When a 38 year old Jay Halstead and his wife a 34 year old Hailey Halstead was sleeping they heard a 24 year old Lacie Maya Angelou Halstead running in threw the downstairs door with her children Bellamy and Justine. Jay came down the stairs to see h
is grandchildren and he was happy too see them & so was his wife...

" Good morning mom and dad." A 24 year old Lacie said
" Good morning princess, how are you?" Jay asked
" Daddy! You know I'm to old for you to call me that now." Lacie said
" but you'll always be my princess." Jay said as she smiles
" and you'll always be my little sweetheart." Hailey said as she patted her granddaughters head
" Grandpa can we have ice cream?" Justin asked
" Justin Williams Marcos." Lacie said
" but mommy." Justin said
" come on Lace just a little bit?" Hailey asked
" oh ok fine I guess where having ice cream for breakfast." Lacie said as her kids jumped up and down
" so where's your husband?" Jay asked
" he left me with some girl who doesn't have a kid." Lacie said and they where shocked
" oh well at least you got us who loves you." Hailey said
" Yeah your right, do you guys have work?" Lacie asked
" are you kidding me? Of course not!" Jay said as she chuckles
" your father got us a day off so we can spend some quality time with you and our grandchildren." Hailey said
" but the intelligence are coming right?" Lacie asked
" of course they are. Their just doing our work." Jay said making them laugh
" Grandma can you tell mommy that I don't wanna go to school tomorrow." Bellamy said
" oh sweetie you have to listen what mommy says, your mom always listens to me when she was your age." Hailey said
" not exactly." Lacie whispered to her daughter who giggled
" what did you just say?" Hailey asked
" oh um nothing mom." She said and Jay smirked
" anyways she always listened to her father." Jay said
" Yes I did daddy." Lacie said as they heard the knock on their door and someone opened it
" Where here!" A 37 year old Kim Burgess said
" Hi guys awe come here Bellamy and Justin." A 39 year old Vanessa Rojas said to her niece and nephew who ran tords her
" what are you guys doing here?" Jay asked
" well we just wanted to spend some quality time with the rest of our family." A 32 year old Adam ruzek said
" yeah and it doesn't stop us from seeing Bellamy and Justin." A 30 year old Kevin Atwater said
" Hey guys." A 49 year old Trudy Platt said as she came threw the door
" Auntie Trudy." The twins said as they ran tords her
" hey my little angels." Trudy said
" hey where's Hank?" Jay asked as he hugged her
" oh he's on a date." She said and they where shocked
" ON A DATE?" all of them said at the same time even Lacie
" Ha my grandpa on a date now that's gotta be awesome." Lacie said
" yeah it was finally time to get him out of the office." Trudy said
" so who is he dating?" Vanessa asked
" he didn't say the name all he said was I'm going out on a date won't be back until tomorrow morning." She said
" all well will find out soon enough." Hailey said as Jay smirked
" oh I hope we do too." Jay said as all of them was brought into a big tight hug by Lacie
" Thank you guys so much and especially you mommy & daddy for making my life so much better." Lacie said
" Awe no problem Lace we could do it if I didn't find you outside sitting alone by the district door way." Jay said and she kissed her father's cheeks
