When Lacie, Hailey, and Jay got back home they started dinner and they watched movies together after when Lacie got her bath taking care of and layed her down for a story, Hailey and Jay where in the living room talking about their date. While they where talking about it Hailey decides that it was time that Lacie could be home by herself with a babysitter...
" Hey hails, ready for our date this weekend?" Jay asked while smirking
" of course I am, I'm just worried about Lacie though." Hailey said
" we could get her a babysitter." Jay said as she nodded
" yeah but it has to be someone from the district." Hailey said
" how about Kim?" Jay asked
" nope. She's to clumsily." Hailey said as he chuckled
" ok umm how about Kevin?" He asked
" nope! Too wild." She said as he started laughing but calmed down
" ok what about mouse or Adam?"
" Nope eats a lot of cheese and nope too stupid." Hailey said & Jay couldn't help but burst out laughing
" ok how about Nadia?" Jay asks
" I love it, Nadia is perfect our date is settled then" Hailey said
" Now we just gotta tell Lacie." Jay said
" don't worry we will." Hailey said
" I like the part when you said eats to much cheese." Jay said and they bursted out laughing
" alright let's go to bed." She said as they where walking into their room
The next day - 6:23am
When Hailey and Jay where in bed making out while they were groaning they heard the fridge door open and that made them jump out of bed so, Jay got off of the floor as he putted his sweat pants back on and grabbed his gun out and so did Hailey as they where walking down the stairs carefully but they checked lacie's room and she wasn't their and that gave them s fright so they went down stairs and found her in the kitchen making them breakfast and they smiled as they walked over to her Jay said...
" Sweetie you scared the death out of us." Jay said
" I'm sorry." Lacie said as they shook their heads
" it's ok lacie, umm how about I take over breakfast and Jay can clean you up?? I mean daddy." Hailey said
" alright mommy." Lacie said as she reached her arms out to Jay who gladly picked her up and carried her to her room as Hailey started cleaning the mess that her beautiful daughter had made
At the district - 7:44am
" Goodmorning Trudy we brought you coffee." Hailey said as she put it on her desk
" oh thank you detectives Halstead and Upton I'll give you your tip after work." Trudy said
" oh Trudy you don't have too." Jay said
" Halstead can I talk to you for a moment?" She asks as Jay gave her a weird look but nodded
" bring lacie to the break room and be with her until I get back." Jay said to Hailey who nodded and walked up the stairs with Lacie
" have you been chatting with your ex?" Trudy asks
" woah-witch one?" Jay asks surprised
" the one who worked here." Trudy said and Jay froze
" u-umm no why are you asking?" He asks
" because some girl name Erin Lindsay wants to come and see us. And she as a son and a daughter." Trudy said and Jay was totally shocked
" no! She can not come anywhere near us she broke us Trudy she didn't even say goodbye. She only told Kim and Hank goodbye not me or Hailey or Adam or Kevin." Jay said as he walked up the stairs
" She's coming here tomorrow." Trudy said as he rolled his eyes

" Jay what's wrong why are you so mad?" Hank asks
" it's none of your business." Jay said
" oh it will be if you don't tell me" Hank said
" ok Detective Erin Lindsay is coming back tomorrow." Jay said
" and your not happy about it? Your always buggin me when's she coming back and now your not happy with it?" Hank asks
" no cause one I'm dating Hailey and two I have a daughter with her." Jay said
" anything else that I should now about Lindsay's welcome back?" Hank asks
" umm no but she does have kids." Jay said and Hank was shocked
" who told you this?" Hank asks
" Trudy just told me not two seconds ago." Jay said as he went into the break room

" Jay, I heard what you and Hank where talking about, Erin's coming back?" Hailey asks and Jay was shocked
" umm- yeah and she has kids." Jay said
" who told you this?" Hailey asks
" Trudy not two seconds ago." Jay said
" your gonna break up with me and leave this family aren't you?" Hailey asked as her tears where about to blow
" no hails, I'll never leave you and our daughter and especially our date." Jay said
" about that are we still going?" Hailey asks
" yes babygirl we are." Jay said as they hugged
" I'm still your number one right?" Hailey asks
" of course your my number one. And your always going to be." Jay said as she smiled
" I love you Jay." Hailey said as they kissed when they let go he said
" I love you more beautiful." Jay said
" you and this dick are mine." Hailey said and he smirked
" yes of course it is and nobody else's it's just yours." Jay said and they kissed
" umm I heard that you guys need a babysitter?" Nadia asks when she came into the break room and they smiled
" hey Nadia if you don't mind!' Hailey said
" hey no I don't mind, it's going to be fun babysitting Lacie." Nadia said
" can I tell you something?" Jay asked
" yeah sure what's up?" Nadia asks
" please don't tell nobody when I tell you this keep it to yourself when it happens." Jay said as she nodded
" alright what is it?" Nadia asks
" Erin's coming back and she has kids." Jay said and Nadia was totally shocked
