In this story detective Jay Halstead gets out of his truck and walked up the stairs until he got to the last stop he saw a little toddler not no under age 2 was sitting on the stairs with a sad face and Jay Halstead had enough so he walked over to her and asked where we're her mommy and daddy & she said they got killed by some bad guys and Jay Halstead was shocked so he picked her up as he asked her if she would like to come inside and that made her shook her head as they walked inside Sergeant desk Trudy Platt looked at Halstead kinda strange but pointed tords the stairs to go up too the intelligence anyways..
Once Jay Halstead got into the intelligence he saw bunch of confused faces he even got them from his best friend and partner Detective Hailey Ann Upton. Once he took the little girl into the break room as he got her settled in Hailey looked at him like ' what where you thinking ' so he told her let him explain that made her shook her head. He told her that he found the little toddler outside of the district and she said that her hole family was killed by some bad guys and Hailey looked at Jay with sadness in her eyes as she heard what he was saying she quickly apologize to him and asked if she could talk to the little girl and he said ' of course ' and Hailey followed him into the break room where the little toddler was found and she said hi & asked what was her name and the little toddler said that her name was ' Lacie Maya-Angelou ' and Hailey's mouth began to smile softly at the young girl but than she looked back at Jay and back at the little girl as she got up she said ' Jay can you come here please?' and so he did as they walked out of the break room she said ' that little toddler looks exactly like you ' she said and Jay was shocked as he said ' well how do you know that ' she than shook her head but she walked back into the break room and talked more to the little girl & the little girl said
My fathers name is Detective Jay Halstead.... And Hailey was shocked so was Jay how will they found out if he was the father of this little girl...
