Chapter 10: TRUTH.

"You are right dear, I will talk to them tomorrow when dad and mom leave for work."
"Okay, have a good night. I will hang up now."

A knock on the door, "good morning Casie. Actually am sorry to disturb you this morning again but I have come to apologise to you for what I said to you yesterday.
My son is really serious about you and am so happy for him. I am really sorry for what I said yesterday morning." Said Mr.John.
"You don't need to apologise sir, you are like my family, my dad and a father doesn't make mistakes when it comes to protecting his child and whatever you said yesterday was for my own good and am so lucky am going to have you as my father-in-law." I said.
"I am leaving for work but Abie will be here with you. Make sure you inform your family about our meeting date." Mr.John said.
"Okay sir. I will inform them."I smiled.

Four days later, Abie's parents came to meet my fake parents and discussed on how the wedding would be.
Though Abie's dad, aunties and uncles were happy with his choice, his mother wasn't. She needed Abie to marry a girl of her choice, a girl from a rich family but Abie didn't consider that.
They decided on the wedding day and left.
Another situation came, where I was to stay away from my husband till the wedding.
Oh! Things were so complicated but I had to do it for the sake of our marriage.

***Scene***
Everything was going on so well on our wedding day till Mrs. Magie found her way to my fake parents' room where she found a photograph of our previous wedding hang on the wall.
She got it from the wall and had a clear look at it. She saw my real mother on that photograph.
Though I grew up and my looks changed, my mom never changed so she recognized her. 
Abie too was in the photograph dressed like how grooms do and your Casie was in a wedding bridal gown.
As the priest was about to hand over the ring to Abie, Mrs. Magie's voice interrupted.
"Wait a minute priest."
Everyone stared at her. She looked so terrified and angry on the face.
"What is it Magie." Mr. John asked.
"These people here have been fooling all of us." She said loud.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked again.
"Abie and this woman here are already husband and wife."
At a moment, I felt fire burning inside of me.
"Wh.. what are you saying Magie.  Pull yourself together first and then tell us."
"Yes, what am saying is true." She said handing a photograph to her husband.
"What's all this Abie? You have broken my trust in you today. Not only trust but my heart too." He said as tears ran out of his eyes.
"I am sorry Dad. Please believe me I didn't mean to hurt all of you here but the situation was such that I couldn't tell you about all this."Abie said.
"Situation! What kind of situation forces a son to marry in secret? Today I feel ashamed to call you my son. And what was the reason for lying to all of us and fooling us into doing another wedding. Whatever the reason was, we can't continue with this wedding and this woman here will have to stay here with her parents because she is not welcome to my house." He said leaving the hall from where the function was taking place.
