Chapter 14: ABIE

***Abie***
"Yes dad, it's true. My wife is the daughter of the Late Gabera and his wife Mrs.Aleena.
When I was a child, Casie was my best friend. I enjoyed her presence every time she was around me. My heart liked her though she was two years younger than me. When that saga between our families happened and they shifted to another place, I was shattered. I missed her company but none of you asked what was bothering me at that time.
I then realized I had fallen in love with her when I found it difficult to live without her.
I had hopes that I would see her again but as time passed, I lost all the hopes I had. I guessed she wasn't meant for me and then decided to move on with my life two years ago.
That's when I met this beautiful soul somewhere at the party and I fell for her at first sight.
Later after knowing each other, I got to know she is the daughter of the Late Gabera but I couldn't bring myself to stop loving her. I believed she is meant for me and me alone.
That's even why I hid my true identity from her. I knew she would leave me if I told her that am your son . I am the one to blame not her." 

"Enough! I have heard enough of your nosense." Mr. John shouted at Abie.
"You are right about that. This is indeed total nosense. I am sure Abie is cooking up stories to defend this woman here but she is the one behind all this. I know she is here for revenge. She wants to avenge her father's death." Mrs. Magie said.
Hearing all that Mrs Magie said, I broke down and cried. I then asked Abie to go back and buy our own apartment but I remembered that Mrs Magie will count it as her victory so I changed my mind after thinking through it.
I know Casie is not holding any grudge against this family but I see you are taking it serious.
But if you all insist that she should leave then I will have to go with her, not so dad?" He said.
"I feel ashamed to call you my son. How could you stoop so low like this.
But I won't let you go from here , and don't think I have forgiven you. I am only doing this for my reputation. Don't expect us to accept this woman here as our daughter-in-law, never." Mr John said.

Mrs Magie laid off her maids. I then became a housewife. I would do everything but sometimes I would call Trina for some help with washing clothes, mopping the floor and what not because she had become my best friend.
