Chapter 18: CHAOS!

Back to my room, I found Abie moving up and down waiting for me with some documents in his hands. They looked like property documents.
"Where were you? If you don't care about anyone at least try and care about your own fresh and blood. The baby has been crying and you didn't find it necessary to come and feed it. You have changed a lot Casie and this change of yours is killing me softly that I won't realize when I will die. Why did you push my father down the stairs anyway?" He asked.
"I didn't push him please believe me." I said.
"I believe you? How about believing my mom?" He asked.
"But why would I do that to him?" I asked.
"Because you hate him. I have finally believed whatever mom said when I was bringing you home. You are here just for revenge. You don't love me at all and see now you have pushed my father. What kind of proof do I need now." He sounded like he wanna cry.
"But why would I push him please?"
"Mother has told me everything, that you made a deal with Dad. You wanted him to give you property in exchange for a grandchild and when he didn't sign these documents for you, you got angry and tried to kill him. All this is part of your mission but I swear if anything happens to my dad, I won't you. Better mark my words." He sounded so angry.
That's when I realized that everything was planned but who could have planned it?
I wanted to tell him that all that was someone else's doing but I didn't have any proof. I wanted something that would surely confirm that someone else was at fault. But who?

My father-in-law's life deteriorated and he went in to a comma. I almost collapsed when the doctor told us that he has gone into a comma.
All my hopes were shattered and that's when everything started falling apart for me.
" Did you see what am capable of ? Don't ever try me again. No one is on your side now, not even your beloved husband.
I have everyone in my hands now. No one will believe whatever you say this time and you won't understand until when you are out of this house.
You see Casie, I don't care about anyone in this family. I only care about myself since I don't have any legal connection with this family. But why am I telling you all this.
She was so happy despite seeing her husband in that state, I guessed that something wasn't right.
Her words kept repeating in my mind every time. A lot of questions kept pilling in to my head but no one was there to provide me with answers to these questions.
I wondered why she said she doesn't care about anyone else in her family, not even her son? I needed to find out but how?
Before she could add anything, Abie and his uncle entered the room and then she changed the subject.
She started to cry while cursing me that I tried to kill her husband and now he has gone into a comma because of me. I couldn't say anything as I didn't have evidence. I sensed she was laying another trap for Abie and his uncle but I was still helpless.
"I knew from the start that you were up to something evil but no one believed me, not even my son. He chose love over his own family. He was blinded by fake love. 
See even now that you have put his father in this condition, he hasn't ousted you from this house. I even wonder whether he is ignoring this because he doesn't care about his dad or something else." She said
