━━━━━━━━━━ You walked down the stairs of the Academy, finding yourself in the kitchen. You were in dire need of some morning tea, but your father's pantry was basically empty. The only tea found was green tea.

You popped on the kettle and gathered a mug and some milk and sugar. Once the water finished boiling, you poured it on the tea bag and let it steep.

After, you journeyed into the living room, wanting to find a nice place to sit and read. What you weren't expecting was to see Klaus in rainbow cheetah print underwear, talking to himself, "Can't smoke eggs."

"I'm sure you'd find a way Klaus," You startled your brother mid light.

Klaus put his hand over his heart, "Jesus, Y/N, way to scare a guy."

You sat on one of the benches, unbeknownst to you, right next to Ben, "Who're you talking to?"

Klaus stared at the spot next to you, "Just some ghost that won't stop nagging me!" He rushed to the cabinet behind you, "One of these has gotta be gold-plated, right?"

"Beats me." You said as you sipped your tea.

Both you and Klaus were startled by Pogo clearing his throat.

"Christ on a cracker! Not you scaring me too, Pogo."

"My apologies, Master Klaus and Miss Y/N. I have a query for you."

"Oh?" Klaus asked.

"Items from your father's office have gone missing. In particular, an ornate box with pearl inlay."

You shifted in your seat, looking back at your brother, "Really?" You and Ben stated at the same time.

Klaus put on an innocent façade, "Really? You don't say."

"Any idea where it went?"

You watched your brother pause for a moment, reliving the moment, "No, no, no. No idea. Sorry. Drop dead," Klaus looked down at the spot beside you, "Would you shut up!"

You just continued to sip your tea as you watched Klaus attempt to explain himself to Pogo, "Pogo, I didn't mean you, I just... I— You know, there's been a lot of stuff I've been dealing with. Just a lot of memories coming up. All those good times."

"Ha! Good times?" You chuckled from your spot on the bench.

Klaus waved you off, "Well, not so much good times as really awful, terrible, depressing times."

"There you go."

"The contents of that box are... priceless," Pogo interjected, "Were they to find their way back to the office, whoever took it would be absolved of any blame or consequences."
