━━━━━━━━━━ The tires of the car screeched on the cement road as Five forcefully stopped the car, causing you to jolt forward. Allison had been splayed across yours, Diego's, and Luther's lap. You had been holding the wound together with your magic, trying to stop the bleeding. It didn't help that your vision was blurred from the tears threatening to come rolling down.
"Come on! Let's go!" Five urged as he got out of the car.
Luther got out before you and Diego, motioning for you guys to give Allison to him, "I don't think she's breathing."
Klaus came to Luther's side, helping him carry your unconscious sister, "If we don't get her upstairs, she's gonna die."
You and Diego were the last one's to get inside the Academy, rushing up the stairs to meet the rest of your siblings. As you climbed the steps, you entered your Mom's room. Your breath got caught in throat seeing Allison in such a vulnerable and lifeless state.
Your Mom pressed her hands to your sister's neck, trying to stop the bleeding since you weren't there, "She's suffered a severe laceration to her larynx," She glanced up at you and all your siblings, "One of you will need to give blood."
You all spoke up, "I will."
"I'm doing it." You watched as Luther began to remove his gloves, before Pogo stopped him, "I'm afraid that's not possible, dear boy. Your blood is more compatible with mine."
The clanging up surgical tools filled up the silence, Klaus breaking it by offering up his instead, "Hey, don't sweat it. I— I got this, big guy. I— I love needles," He then slapped the vein on his arm.
"Master Klaus," Pogo stopped him, "Your blood is... How shall I say this? Too polluted."
You sighed, "Fine. Then let me do it."
"No. Move," Diego nudged you out of the way, "I'm number two. I'll do it." Your Mom unraveled the sterile needle, prepping it for insertion. As Diego saw the needle, he whimpered and fell to the floor. You leaned over the operation table and stared at your brother lying on the floor.
Pogo nodded, "Stick him."
Your Mom bent down, piercing your brother's skin with the pointed tool. You walked out of the room, deciding to decompress in the living area.
After a little while you were joined by Five, who sauntered over to the bar to get a drink. You both sat in silence, letting time move on without you. Soon enough, Klaus and Diego joined you two.
It was strange seeing Diego with so much energy after just having his blood drawn; you watched him begin to pace back and forth across the carpet, "The bastard that nearly killed our sister's still out there, with Vanya. We need to go after her."
"Vanya is not important."
You stared incredulously at Five, "Excuse me? She's our sister. That's a little heartless, even for you, Five"
"I'm not saying I don't care about her, but if the apocalypse happens today, she dies along with the other seven billion of us. Harold Jenkins is our first priority."
"Fair point."
Diego nodded, "I agree. Let's go."
"You guys count me out," You all stopped in your place, staring at Klaus, "I mean, you know, no offense or whatever. It's just... I kind of feel like this is a whole lot of pressure for newly-sober me, so..."
"You're coming."
"No, no, no. I mean, I think we can all agree that my power's... I mean, it's pretty much useless. I'd just be holding you guys back."
"Klaus, get up." Five stated flatly.
He scrunched up his face, "You can't make me."
You turned your head to Diego, "You wanna do it, or should I."
He stared back at you, "I got it." He pulled out a knife from one of his pockets, landing it between Klaus' open legs.
Klaus sighed, maneuvering his way around the knife as he got up, "Oh, then again, a little exercise couldn't hurt. Yeah."

Diego had pulled up to the curb, all of you rushing out of the car and back into the murders' den. When you walked in, it was eerily quiet. Diego walked in front of you, Klaus, and Five, guiding the way through the house. As you rounded a wall, you were greeted by Harold Jenkins' body on the floor, completely mutilated. Anything that was sharp was lodged in his chest, blood seeping down his body.
Klaus crouched down in front of the body, "It's not exactly what I was expecting."
"The understatement of the year," Five didn't take his eyes off of Leonard.
You looked up from the body and around the room, "No sign of Vanya."
"Then let's get out of here, before the cops come." Diego and Klaus began walking away, but you noticed Five further inspect the creep, "In a minute."
He sighed as he kneeled down in front of its head. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the glass eye he'd been carrying. You scrunched your face up in disgust when you saw him remove the eye patch and stick the eye in the empty hole.
Beside you, Diego covered his mouth in an attempt not to gag, "Come on, Five, what are you..."
Klaus watched in fascination as the eye fit right in, "Ugh, wow."
"Same eye color, same pupil size. Guys this is it," Five turned around to glance at you guys, "The eye I've been carrying around for decades, it— It's found its rightful home." He paused for a moment before reaching back in and grabbing the eye.
As you walked closer to your two brothers, you heard Diego do the same, shuffling to your side, "We got the guy we needed to kill to stop the apocalypse."
"Yay!" Klaus cheered, "Let's go." Before he could go any further, Diego grabbed him by the back of his shirt.
"No, no. Wait, wait. It can't be this easy," Five stood up from his crouched position and pulled out the piece of paper, "Look, this is the note that I got from the Commission. The one that says, 'Protect Harold Jenkins,' aka Leonard Peabody."
"Yeah?" You all questioned.
"But who killed him? Who did this?"
"I have a crazy idea. Crazy, but why don't we find Vanya... and ask her what happened?"
"Exactly," You smiled in agreement.
"If Vanya got away from this asshole, she might be headed back to the Academy."
