━━━━━━━━━━ You felt like the day was moving on without you; any concept of time you had had been removed. You were staring at a spot on the carpeted floor, unable to tear your gaze away from it. You didn't notice Klaus screaming for help when the man with the metal arm forcefully put tape over his mouth. You didn't even register when he did the same to you.
The sound of the door clicking processed through your ears, but not enough to break you from your trance. Your chair got pulled, tearing your gaze from the spot on the rug. When you looked up, you were greeted by bare faces, no masks, nothing.
You looked at each face thoroughly, scanning their features until your eyes landed a pair of blue eyes staring right back at you. You felt intimidated by his gaze, like there was nothing but coldness behind them, yet you found them soften when he continued to stare at you. Beside you, Klaus began to speak through the tape, not able to produce a coherent sound.
"What's he saying?" One of the men asked.
The woman reached forward and pulled the tape harshly off of Klaus' face, "What are you sayin'?"
He breathed out a shaky breath, "You guys are scarier without the masks." Both you and Klaus chuckled, receiving a slap across the face from the woman in return.
"That's no way to say hello to your old friends, is it?"
"Can't we call it a night? We already gave you what you wanted. Just, please... please let us go. Please." Klaus' head lolled to the side as he shut his eyes.
"Well, technically we want your brother. Is your brother here now?"
You watched Klaus look to the side, gazing upon an empty place on the bed, "Uh, he... You're gonna have to be a little more specific on that." Klaus started to chuckle again, receiving another slap. "Ow! I told you already. He's not coming. No one will."
"Well, Number Five knows now. We left him a message. And when he comes for you two, we'll be ready."
The man walked forward, pulling Klaus' chair so he would be facing the door. Your chair got pulled by the woman, placing your back to Klaus and your eyes staring straight at the man with the metal arm. As the lights turned down and the curtains were drawn, you watched the trio gather in the back of the room, arming themselves with their weapons.
You internally groaned as you felt Klaus thrashing behind you. Suddenly he stopped and began to whimper, "No, no, no, no..."
You started to ignore whatever your brother was doing behind you when felt a strange tingling sensation throughout your body. When you looked down at your bare arms you thought you saw a glimpse of red, but a wave of pain flooded your head, casing you to gasp out loud.
