Ilang linggo na akong umiiyak. Ngayon, para na akong naubusan ng luha. Wala nang tumutulo, wala nang lumalabas. I feel so dead inside.

How? How can I give it to her when her body disappeared? My mom doesn't deserve this. It's all my fault.

"Mommy, I'm sorry. I failed as a daughter." Paos kong sabi. I decided to quit school. I already graduated in Canada so having good grades here won't necessarily mean anything.

Experience SHS, College, have friends and travel? Fuck. I don't need those. I need my mom.

After I called Sk, he immediately asked for my location at dinala ako rito. Every member had their own rooms dito sa headquarters. The room I'm staying in is not yet mine dahil pinapagawa pa raw 'to. I guess it's okay. Although I didn't tell them my situation, I heard na there is a member here that can see a glimpse of your memory.

I heard three knocks from the door. I stood up at kinuha 'yon.

'I brought you chips, eat them. please?'

I opened the door. Again, no one was there. Simula nang dumating ako rito, someone has been knocking on my door, leaving one of my favorite snacks. Everytime I open the door, that someone is already gone.

I looked at the chips that is now on the floor. It was neatly placed in a white bowl while a smaller container was beside it with a cheese paste. It was covered with a food cling wrap.

For some reason, I can't make myself smile upon the gesture. I felt like I don't deserve to be happy.

As I closed the door, napatingin uli ako sa paligid. Napakalaki ng kwarto. It was exclusively furnished and fully air-conditioned. It's like everything here is upgraded.

I was about to lie down when I heard a knock once again.

"Miss chips? Si Sk 'to." He said in a whispering voice. I didn't respond and just listened.

"Alam kong ayaw mo maistorbo at gusto mo mapag isa. He requested. They were really making the effort para makausap ako at para pagaanin ang loob ko. I'm thankful but my brain is telling me not to get too close to anyone.

"Kung hindi, okay lang. Basta, babalik ulit ako bukas ha?" Bulong uli nito na may pagkadismaya sa tono.

"Wait. Go on." I declared. Narinig ko ang mahinang pag 'yes' nito. I can hear him directly standing of my front door right now.

"Hindi mo kailangan buksan yung pinto."

THIRD PERSON

Sk was holding a guitar as he sat on the floor. On the other hand, ganon din ang ginawa ng dalaga. She took a towel and placed it in the floor.

"I hope to see your smile again, my favorite girl." Mahinang bulong ng binata sa sarili. It wasn't loud enough for Hanika to hear.

Now Playing:
Supermarket Flowers by Ed Sheeran
(please listen to the audio while reading)

Sk started to sing as he played his guitar with pure feelings and intend of comfort.

🎶I took the supermarket flowers from the windowsill.
I threw the day old tea from the cup.
Packed up the photo album Matthew had made.
Memories of a life that's been loved.🎶

Hanika closed her eyes when she heard him sing. His voice felt so warm as if it was hugging her.

🎶Took the get well soon cards and stuffed animals.
Poured the old ginger beer down the sink.
Dad always told me, "Don't you cry when you're down".
But mum, there's a tear every time that I blink.🎶

As he continued, the tears she was looking for earlier finally showed up.

🎶Oh I'm in pieces, it's tearing me up, but I know,
A heart that's broke is a heart that's been loved.🎶

Tumulo ang mga luhang tila ba naipon. The pain she's been keeping for being unable to cry was now finally breaking free.

🎶So I'll sing Hallelujah
You were an angel in the shape of my mum
When I fell down you'd be there holding me up
Spread your wings as you go
And when God takes you back we'll say Hallelujah
You're home🎶

"I miss you, mommy."

The death of Hanika's mom has a similarity on the death of his sister.

"I miss you, Syv. He was smiling but tears were already falling from his cheeks.

To be continued....
