I have a burden deeply born.
I'm a soul in mourning,
Emotions of pain
Through sunny days and starlit nights.Alone, I walk in hidden fights.
Each smile I clothe
Hides unspoken pain
That is too deep for you to notice, like a curse.All my life,
I wear chains of curses,
I can't break free.
I'm a prisoner to a generational curse.

I have lost love and dreams that slowly died.
All my life,
I have been looking for a way to mend my wounds,
And this journey has been long like the River Nile.
I have faced sadness;
I'm brave and strong,
But I hope to heal from this curse.
