Chapter 12 - Sensei's Guest

"Earth!" Cole yells smashing his scythe into the bounty making a dummy Serpentine fall over.

"Lightning!" Jay then yells whacking one end of his nunchucks into the dummy Serpentine also making it fall over.

"Ice!" Zane yells throwing his shurikens at the dummy only for it to be frozen in place.

"Wind!" I yell grabbing an arrow and releasing it from my bow sending a gust of wind past the dummy and making it fly backwards, almost off the Bounty.

Nya then shines a spotlight onto the Bounty so we are able to see again. "Good training. Your powers are getting stronger. But where's Kai?" Nya asks as we all look around trying to find him. "Last I saw him he was heading to Sensei's room so maybe his still there?" Jay states.

"Why was he in Sensei's room?" I ask putting my bow around my shoulder.

"Dunno. But we're about to find out." Cole says running down into the bounty where Kai presumably is.

As the 4 of us walk into Sensei's room we find Kai in the green ninja outfit trying to unlock his true potential. We all begin laughing though as Kai looks ridiculous in the Green Ninja suit and looks even more stupid trying to unlock his true potential.

"Very nice. Perhaps if you tried the phrase 'fire dork' maybe it might work." Cole says calming his giggling state.

"How long have you all been watching?" Kai asks confused and very nervously.

"The Green Ninja suit, that's awesome!" Jay exclaims completely ignoring Kai's question.

"Well, I was looking for some kind of clue from Sensei, and then I found this." Kai replies stuttering a little.

"But you know, only he who is foretold to face Lord Garmadon, is destined to be the Green Ninja and only he should wear the Green Ninja outfit. So Sensei will most likely be-" Zane is then cut off by Kai who knows what he's about to say.

"I know, I know. But I thought if I just tried it on it might help me see my true potential. It's not fair that you guys have unlocked your cool powers and I still haven't. Besides, Sensei's gone and we don't know when he's coming back." Kai explains. We then turn around to hear a knock coming from the door and a familiar voice following it.

"Hello? I'm home." Sensei Wu calls out to us.

"Sensei!" Jay, Cole and Zane exclaim in unison.

I look back to Kai and gesture him to bend down to my height. "Don't stress about it Kai. If you really want to find your true potential, put your life at risk to protect others. That's how the rest of us did it." I state sort of trying to reassure him.

"I'm not sure whether to take that seriously or what. But you do have a point pip squeak." Kai says getting back up and jumping into a corner to take the Green Ninja gi off as I run off to go find Sensei.

"Ah, it's so good to be home." Sensei states with a warm smile. "So glad you're back." Zane replies with a similar smile.

"Did you bring us anything?" Cole asks childishly.

"Oh sensei, have you missed a lot! Zane's a nindroid, Nya's the mysterious Samurai, Cole's a dancer-" Jay says rambling on about what we've discovered in our past adventures.

"Zane is a what?" Sensei questions cutting Jay's rambling off.

"You've been gone a while, we'll catch you up later. But you should know, all of us except for Kai have discovered our true potential alongside Y/n." Zane states.

"Have you now? Where is Kai?" Sensei questions as Zane walks in front of him.

"He was-" But I'm cut off by Jay grabbing me and putting a hand over my mouth and Kai running up the stairs. "Right here!" Kai yells as he reaches where the rest of us are.

"So glad you're back safe."

I thought the same as Kai until 4 pure black arms and hands stretch out either side of Sensei which then reveals to be Lord Garmadon as he pokes himself around Sensei. Wait, how in the name of the first spinjitzu master did he get here and since when did he have 4 arms?

"Ah! Sensei, behind you!" Kai exclaims warning Sensei just before he jumps on Garmadon and tries to attack him. Kai then whips out his sword and holds it dangerously close to Garmadon's neck while Zane jumps out in front of Sensei to try and protect him. I also grab an arrow and put it in my bow just in case Garmadon tries anything. "Ah! He's got 4 arms." Kai states going to pounce on him. But luckily for Garmadon, he's 4 arms are able to grasp onto the Golden Weapon as well and hold back Kai from possibly slitting his throat.

"So we meet again." Is all Garmadon says still trying to hold back Kai.

"He must've followed you back Sensei." Kai assumes.

"Kai, stop!" Sensei demands of his pupil while also saving his brother. "He is the reason I left. For so long as Pythor has Lloyd, he will be our guest." Sensei explains while Zane, Jay, Cole, Nya, and myself only look at him annoyed and slightly dumbfounded.

"We have to live with this guy?" Cole rhetorically questions.

"But Sensei, he has four arms!" Zane complains.

"Uh, must I remind you ever since he turned evil he's been trying to get our Golden Weapons?" Jay then states.

"If he can't raise a kid my age what in the balogne is he going to do with me?" I ask slightly worried and scared.

"Enough!" Sensei yell at us.

Kai gets off of Garmadon and lines up with the rest of us while we all bow our heads in shame, as well as Nya. "Yes Sensei." Us 5 ninja say in unison.

"This isn't about the weapons, it's about my son!" Garmadon explains to us annoyed that we tried to attack him. Or more specifically, Kai tried to attack him.

"From here on out, you will obey me and you will respect my brother." Sensei orders of us quite calmly.

"Yes Sensei." We all reply in unison once more.

"Now to the bridge. We must put our attention to more pressing matters." Sensei then states as he leads Garmadon to the bridge. The rest of us still look at the ground both annoyed and in shame of our actions and Sensei's decision. After a few more minutes of 'look at the ground because we got in trouble' we finally decide to head down to the bridge with Nya following behind us in a line.

"So, where are we at with the 4 Fang Blades?" Sensei asks us.

"Pythor's managed to take the first 2, but there's still 2 left." Jay states.

"And we only need one to prevent him from unleashing the Great Devourer." Cole then states.

"Any luck finding their whereabouts?" Sensei continues to question.

"No, but the falcon is programmed to alert us if he sees any suspicious activity." Zane explains.

"Good, if we find the Fang Blade, we find Lloyd. Kai and Nya, prepare the deck and double check the anchor. We need to be ready when we first get word of activity." Sensei commands the siblings.

"Yes Sensei." They both reply before walking out to the open area of the Bounty.

"I have my eye on you." Kai glares at Garmadon before running into the wall instead of the door. Sensei only sighs at Kai's distrust of his brother so Nya has to pull him by his arm out of the room.

"Y/n, do you mind making sure that the sail is still in its rightful position?" Sensei then asks of me.

"Sure." I say happily.

"Jay did you say the falcon was, programmed?" Sensei asks before I start leaving the bridge.

"Actually no, Zane-" And I'm once again cut off but this time by Cole elbowing me.

"Okay Sensei, I don't know where to start." Jay begins chuckling lightly. "It all started when we saw the falcon, and then..." But I'm unable to hear anything else as I'm too far away to.
