Someone Like You (Lloyd x Reader)

Chapter 8 - The Serpentine

Ever since we got home from 'saving' Jamanakai village from Lloyd Garmadon, I've always felt bad for just leaving him in the tree. But that wasn't my only problem. I also had a bad feeling that because we didn't deal with him in the first place, things were going to get worse. And it turns out, over these past few weeks I was right.

First, only a few hours after we left Lloyd hanging in the tree in Jamanakai village, apparently he ended up escaping and had enough time to find out where one of the five Serpentine cages or holes or whatever they are, and opened it releasing the Hypnobrai. Then going back to Jamanakai village with the Hypnobrai and hypnotising the people into giving Lloyd candy and taking over the town! So we had to go deal with them which didn't take too long considering Nya was there already helping us. We also ended up with the Hypnobrai's staff that contains the anti-venom so that's useful.

Second, Zane made friends with a falcon which lead him to Lloyd and the Serpentine's new treehouse fort thing. Which rudely enough said no girls and no ninja so that was heaps of fun for me. Anyway, Cole apparently got hypnotised by one of the damn snakes and tried to attack us. Fortunately, Sensei and Nya showed up in time before the fort fell and started whistling into a flute that snapped Cole back to reality. But once we got home, we were too late and the Hypnobrai had destroyed the monastery, my only home, and taken their staff back as well. Luckily, Zane had taken off and found us a new home which we now call the 'Destiny's Bounty' which is a pirate ship that has the ability to fly and has a dragon shaped head on the front. Zane also found it in the desert some how which I've never questioned because I know that some questions should remain unanswered.

Third, once we all finally got properly settled into our new home, Jay's parents decided to drop by so we finally got to meet them. And just like Jay warned us, respectfully, they are quite loud and won't stop talking! They also started to ship Jaya as well so I had to tell them Nya and Jay's ship name.

The next day, Jay finally decided to visit his parents at their junkyard like he said he would, along with the rest of us ninja, Nya and Sensei. Sadly though we had to walk the whole way as our dragons had to leave and change into their full form or something like that. Anyway, it sucks because I was enjoying being around one of my favourite mythical creatures, which apparently aren't mythical and are real. Getting back on track, once we finally reached the junkyard Jay instantly knew something was up because his parents were quite. It turned out that after the Hypnobrai had 'betrayed' Lloyd, the pure blonde haired kid decided to release the Fangpyre. And being in a junkyard they basically bit into anything and everything they could find and turned it into an army as well as Jay's parents. They then got away after a while of fighting but Sensei told us that our Golden Weapons could become vehicles. And they did!

Kai's turned into a motorbike as well as Zane's, Cole's turned into a car like vehicle, while mine and Jay's turned into jets. Although mine looked more like a flying car.

Anywho, we caught back up to Fangpyre and Lloyd and snatched their staff off of them which holds the anti-venom that will turn Jay's parents back into humans. So we headed back for the Bounty and turned Jay's parents, Ed and Edna, back to human. Then Jay pushed the button that he has been working on which made the bounty fly.

Fourth, apparently the Fangpyre have now also ditched Lloyd for the Hypnobrai so Lloyd has now gone looking for the Anacondrai. There seemed to only be one though named Pythor so we assume that Pythor ate the others but Lloyd seems to not realise. Or maybe he has and is just stupid enough to trust another snake! By the way kids, when your parents tell you not to trust a snake, they mean it. Trust me, I know.

Anyway, so that brings us back to the present where we're all going to Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Boys because that's what we've been told where Lloyd and Pythor are.
