"They got the first one, but there are 3 more and we only need 1 to stop Pythor. They have a map and we don't so the question remains, how are we gonna find the first?" Nya states as we all still try to figure out how to get the Fang Blades before Pythor. Which reminds me, the past two days have been very chaotic. First, we figured out that Pythor had found the first Fang Blade at Monster Amusement Park so we had to go stop him which we failed to do so as Zane tried to use his true potential again but it backfired and we were all frozen, other than Jay as he was on a date with Nya. We also ended up finding out that Nya was the Samurai X so it's good to know that I'm not the only girl on the team who fights or uses their girl power I guess I could say.
Oh! And Jay found his true potential by saving Nya which just before that, Jay was turning into a snake because he wasn't careful around the skeleton of one of the Serpentine bone, corpse, thing, and apparently stabbed himself on one of the teeth so the venom was able to get into him and almost turn him into a snake. So yeah, fun times especially for a 12 year old!
"I still can't get over the fact that you were the mysterious Samurai. Is anyone else blown away like I am?" Jay fangirls over Nya making me cringe a little. "No because none of us are obsessed with her like you." I point out making Jay blush and roll his eyes.
"Can we get back to the Fang Blades?" Kai asks impatiently as Jay and I turn to face him. "Happily." Nya inputs trying to stop Jay from obsessing over her.
"Woo hoo hoo, someone's a little hot under the collar." Jay points out making Kai that little more annoyed. "It appears his impatience is because he has not yet found his inner peace and unlocked his full potential like you, Y/n and I have Jay." Zane states. "Still can't believe I was the first one to find my full potential. And I'm still only a minor!" I exclaim intentionally making Kai even more annoyed.
"That's because you fell head over heels with Lloyd." Kai coos, making me blush in embarrassment. "Did not! I just didn't want to witness another kid my age, and now best friend, plummet to their death." I state matter of factly.
"Cole hasn't found his true potential yet either." Nya states.
"I got it!" Cole yells only walking in on the conversation now. Not literally though. "You've unlocked it?" Kai yells annoyed. "Why am I the only one!"
"No! I figured out where I recognise the Fang Blade from. I have a picture of it." Cole says running out of the room then coming back in a few minutes later with a photo album in his hands. Then placing the album onto the table, Jay takes it and finds the photo of the Fang Blade, already on the page. "That's it!"
"Back where I grew up, there's this pretty big competition where every year the winner gets the Blade Cup. My dad's won it multiple times." Cole explains why he has a photo of it. "You never told us your dad was an accomplished athlete." Zane comments still looking at the photo. "What sport?"
"What in the name of the first spinjitzu master was that word you just said Zane?" I question before Cole gets an opportunity to talk. "I'll explain it to you later." Kai says looking down at me because I'm half his height. Probably a little shorter.
"Oh, he's a uh, a blacksmith." Cole stutters for some weird reason.
"Nothing wrong with that, my father was a blacksmith too. But I've never heard of a competition-" Kai was interrupted by Cole explaining what sort of blacksmith his dad was or is. "Because he's not a 'blacksmith' blacksmith, he's a Royal Blacksmith." Cole says flipping the page over to reveal what looks to be his dad holding the Blade Cup in a male dancers outfit. Jay snickers a little at the photo which I believe was rude. But by now all the ninja, including Nya are smart enough to know in situations like this I will kick their ass so Jay swats his hand to get my foot away from his ass.
"But how did the Fang Blade become a trophy?" Kai questions making a good point for once.
"Well supposedly, the Blade Cup was made by this guy who collected priceless artefacts. His name was something like uh, Dutch, no Clutch. Clutch Powers! Anyway, it gets passed on to each year's winner." Cole explains while everyone looks at him eager to know more while I just stand there dumbfounded at his wording.
"Kai can you explain to me whatever it is Cole just said." I whisper tugging at his gi to get him to bend over. "Sure, just not now." Kai replies while I just huff in annoyance. I swear because I'm a ninja, everyone forgets how young I am. They literally make fun of me because of how young and small I am for a living though!
"Who has it now?" Zane asks. "I don't know. I haven't talked to my father in years." Cole replies sadly so I decide to lighten the mood a little.
"Welcome to the club! For all I know my dad is probably dead. And my mother." I comment making the others look at me weird because of my somewhat depressing joke. Zane wraps an arm around my shoulders in reassurance to let me know that he and the others are my family now.
"Well, then we'll call him up." Kai says simply which Cole doesn't react the best to. "You can't! He thinks I'm in Ninjago City training at the Marty Openheimer School of Performing Arts." Cole explains why we can't call him and go, 'Hey you know where the Blade Cup is because we kinda need it right now to stop Serpentine from unleashing the Great Devourer which could possibly kill everyone in Ninjago'.
"He wanted me to follow in his footsteps but when I couldn't sing or dance, well I- I ran away. When he sees that I can't dance he'll know I've been lying in all the letters I've been sending him." Cole confesses while driving the Bounty as if it were some sort of calming habit.
"He doesn't know you're a ninja?" Zane questions for the rest of us who were all probably thinking the same.
"My parents don't know that their 12 year old daughter's a ninja." I say jokingly. "You just said that your parents are dead remember?" Kai says ruining my joke. "I said probably, I don't know if they actually are or not." I say matter of factly making Kai annoyed again.
"What? You gonna crack some joke that my old man wears a tutu?" Cole responds with a hint of annoyance in his tone of voice. "Zane can't though unless his funny switch is turned on. Which I doubt it is." I joke again while goosebumps run down my back at my trauma from last time he turned it on. "Ybn you are banned from jokes for the rest of the day." Jay states which I reluctantly agree to. Man these guys make it difficult for a kid to have fun around here.
"Now back to what we were talking about-" Kai stops for a moment to glare at me which I only shrug my shoulders to. "We aren't going to crack a joke about your dad wearing a tutu or whatever, but if we're gonna have any chance at getting that Fang Blade before they do, we'd better get our own act in tune."

The next morning, we arrive at the outer skirts of Ninjago City, hovering above the neighbourhood where Cole's dad lives. The boys dressed in casual clothing then jump off of the Bounty and turn their Golden Weapons into vehicles, then transform them back into the weapons landing perfectly on the ground. I watch from above with Nya as I decided on my own that I'll stay back on this one.
"Hey Nya, while the boys are on their somewhat of a mission, wanna see if we can do something in the city?" I ask her ready to run into the control room to get the Bounty moving again. "Sure, why not?" Nya replies as she walks over to the wheel and heads for the centre of Ninjago City.
Once we're finally hovering over where the main shopping centre is and whatever else is there. I grab onto Nya and pull out my Golden Weapon and turn it into the car jet thingy. Once we've landed safely on the ground, the vehicle transforms itself back into the bow as I don't have the arrows with me as it's only going to be a casual, fun day with Nya.
And so for the rest of the day, we go and buy new clothes for ourselves, food for both us and the boys, and do a bunch of girly things like getting our nails done and everything like that. But only if it was suitable for me as I'm only 12. Sometimes I wish I was older to do the more fun things, especially being a ninja because then I'd be able to go on every mission instead of skipping out on one every once a month or whatever.
